Countless times I heard Imams in mosques say women will go to hell before men because they're worse sinners. One day I asked a Muslim female classmate of mine if this is stated in Islam (of course she wears a hijab). She agreed adamantly and added, "Women's sins are hidden, so they deserve it." How scary the level of religious brainwashing is! Then I realized why I saw women in hijabs/burkas with placards saying "I'm a slave of Allah/Mohamed, Don't criticize Islam" across the internet. Some points about Islam, FIY: 1. Islam says there was a "first" woman created from the ribs of the "first" man (how gruesome!) which makes the entire human female population inferior to their male counterparts. 2. No. 1 renders women incapable of leadership and decision-making roles, as mentioned in the "Holy" Quran. 3. "Prophet" Mohamed, according to traditional Hadith sources, was betrothed to 6-7 old child Aisha (Oh, the greatest man that ever lived!). The Hadith (Mohamed's teachings) indicates in some translations that if a woman's bun bulging from underneath her hijab looks like a camel's hunch, she's a sinner. Wearing any clothes that resembles any limbs makes her a sinner for arousing men (the sheer level of psychosis - I mean - whaaat!?). 4. A man can have up to 4 wives if he wants, but a woman can't have more than one husband. He can do whatever he wants to his wife (Logically inferring, that includes beating her up & that's exactly what we see happen until this day). 5. Still Muslims claim Islam has put women in a special place of honor (the epitome of hypocrisy)! My heartiest congratulations to any human, not just women, who dares to defy and leave Islam and any other oppressive religious cults/faiths. I wish them happiness and prosperity. Be strong and keep the peaceful revolution going until humanity is freed.

Agree with you, I've got the same answer when asked the same question. These ladies just answer without thinking. I retorted and asked them, "How many women are rapists, murderers, robbers," and etc. They were totally stunt to reply. Of course, I also know women are sinners too and not angels.

I remember a mosque teacher telling me that the ruling of men being able to divorce women with just three words is justified, because "women get periods, so they're more emotional than men. They can't think these things through." Disgusts me that I sat there listening to that.
@urmom46182 жыл бұрын

@mariam_ah2 ай бұрын
The fact that the Imam said that is DISGUSTING. What he said is absolutely disgusting and Haram and he will answer God on the day of judgement for twisting around God's words. It's a huge sin for these Imams/people to twist things up about a religion just to justify themselves. As for the polygamy stuff: In the Qur'an, Chapter 4 (Surah An-Nisa), Verse 3, it permits men to have up to four wives under certain conditions: "And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice]." (4:3) In this verse, men are allowed to have up to four wives, but only if they can treat all of them with full justice and fairness. If they fear they cannot be just, they are commanded to marry only one. Reasons behind this rule: - Social Context:In 7th-century Arabia, when the Qur'an was revealed, polygyny was a widespread cultural practice. The Qur'an regulated it by limiting the number of wives to four, subject to strict conditions of fairness and justice. -Protection of Women: At the time, due to wars and other societal factors, there were often more women than men. Having multiple wives was seen as a way to provide for widows and orphans. - Responsibility and fairness: The condition of treating all wives equally places a significant burden on the man, suggesting that fairness is paramount. Why Can't Women Have Multiple Husbands (Polyandry)? In Islam, polyandry (women having multiple husbands) is not allowed. Some of the reasons scholars cite for this include: - Lineage and Paternity:*Historically, ensuring clear lineage was important, and polyandry complicates determining a child's father. - Responsibility Distribution:*Traditionally, men were responsible for the financial maintenance and protection of their wives, and multiple husbands would disrupt this traditional framework of accountability. - Biological Differences:Some scholars argue that men and women have different emotional and physical capacities when it comes to managing multiple spouses. This explanation, however, is debated and is often viewed from a perspective that doesn't necessarily account for modern sensibilities of gender equality. 2. The Verse on 'Beating' Wives: You mentioned the issue of men being able to "do whatever they want" to their wives, including beating them. This commonly refers to a verse in the Qur'an that has been widely debated and often misunderstood: In Surah An-Nisa (4:34), the verse says: > "Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because Allah has given the one more [strength] than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore, the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part you fear disobedience, first admonish them; [then if they persist], refuse to share their beds; and [finally], strike them. But if they return to obedience, seek not against them means [of annoyance]." Understanding this verse:** - Firstly context: This verse addresses a situation of marital discord, offering a process of resolution that starts with dialogue, followed by distancing (separation from the bed), and as a last resort, the word *“strike”* (*daraba* in Arabic) is used. - Interpretations and limits: Many Islamic scholars and commentators emphasize that this "striking" is symbolic or a mild tap, not a license for domestic violence. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself emphasized kindness and gentleness toward wives, and there are numerous Hadith (narrations of the Prophet) that condemn harsh treatment of women. - Example from the Prophet:In one of his Hadith, the Prophet said, “The best of you are those who are best to their wives,” emphasizing compassionate treatment. - Contemporary Interpretations: Many modern scholars and translators argue that this verse does not permit abuse but instead outlines a step-by-step resolution for resolving severe marital disputes with the ultimate aim of reconciliation. Others argue that the term "strike" should be interpreted metaphorically. - Abuse is condemned: Domestic violence, in any form, goes against the broader ethical teachings of Islam. There are numerous Islamic texts that emphasize the importance of treating women with kindness and respect. Any act of violence violates the principles of justice and fairness, which are central to Islamic teachings. 3. Misuse of Islamic Teachings to Justify Abuse: It’s important to distinguish between Islamic teachings and how individuals or cultures misinterpret or misuse these teachings. In some societies, people may justify violence or oppressive behavior against women by referring to religious texts, but this is often a misapplication of those texts. Islam, as a religion, places a high value on justice, compassion, and the fair treatment of all individuals. Using scripture to justify abuse is a form of injustice that goes against the core ethical principles of the religion. - Polygyny in Islam was regulated within strict ethical boundaries and was meant to ensure justice and protection for women, not male dominance. - Violence against women is strongly condemned in Islamic tradition, and verses that may seem to justify it are often misunderstood or taken out of context. The Prophet Muhammad's life provides a model of compassion and fairness, which is what believers are encouraged to follow. The idea that the first woman, Eve, was created from Adam’s rib is mentioned in some Islamic and Judeo-Christian traditions. However, it does not imply inferiority in Islam. The Qur'an emphasizes that both men and women were created from a single soul (Qur’an 4:1) and are equal in the eyes of God. Gender equality in spiritual and moral value is a core teaching. The Qur'an does not explicitly prohibit women from leadership or decision-making roles. While some historical interpretations have limited women's roles, contemporary Islamic scholars argue that women can, and have, held significant leadership roles. Women like Aisha (one of the Prophet’s wives) were scholars and political figures. Modern Muslim-majority countries have had female heads of state, showing that leadership is not restricted to men in Islam. Islamic teachings advocate for respect and dignity for women. The claim that Islam puts women in a "special place of honor" stems from scriptural verses that emphasize women’s rights, including inheritance, education, and the right to work. However, many challenges faced by Muslim women are often due to cultural practices rather than Islamic teachings themselves. Misinterpretation or misuse of these teachings can lead to hypocrisy or injustice, which Islamic scholars continuously work to address.

Well yes and no I mean the creator of modern science was inspired to pursue his dreams by a dream he had of an angel which told him "the world will be conquered through math and numbers" or something along those lines and the person who found the structure of the DNA had the idea after he saw a vision on a stairway going up to heaven. I have also heard Darwin had some weird letter talking about some beings but I haven't seen any of them so idk. Not to mention the person came up with the big bang theory was a priest. That's what Christianity teaches that all these great ideas come from the subconscious from somewhere else. But I can agree with you that some people exploit the belief of others and some "religions" are just down right oppressive but if it wasent for Christianity we would still be pagan and treating women as sex objects.

I stopped dating Muslim men, as they always tried to force me to convert to Islam, even after I made it clear from the beginning that I don’t believe in Islam. My last Muslim boyfriend was very controlling after we became serious and discussing marriage. He tried to force me to “garb up” and practice Islamic customs. I ended the relationship and vowed to never date Muslim men again. If I had that experience as a non-Muslim, I can imagine what these women experienced. Im glad they’re now free.

Actually it's not worth it to date a muslim if you are a woman. Women had less rights compared to men. Muslim men can marry a lot of women unlike women. Not only that, it's easy for men to Divorce his wife unlike Muslim women divorcing his Muslim husband and if he divorce you, you receive no Alimony despite all your life you help him succeed. In short, in Sharia law, men are a lot more favored than women.

This is not really sad this is obvious you chose to commit a major sin with men who told you they were believers of Allah The problem is you yourself lack understanding of the religion so no practising Muslim man is going to lay down with you as a non-Muslim respectfully you don’t even wash when you go to the toilet. What then happens to these Muslim men as they fall in love with you and what we call protective jealousy starts to kick in and they try to cover you and only you like they do their own women As it’s not a life that you want obviously you rebel from that It doesn’t seem like you had positive examples of Islam that’s nobody else is full other than the menu dated and yourself that doesn’t now mean that Islam is not true because of bad Muslims that you met if you watch the whole video not one of them have any logic as to why they don’t believe they just emotional decisions because they found the religion hard finding the religion hard doesn’t mean now it’s not true No practising Muslim man who fears God would even look at you as a non-Muslim they’ll find you actually repulsive again no practising Muslim man is going to enter someone who doesn’t even wash after they go to the toilet. The first lady they brought up mentioned FGM if she had any knowledge of religion she would understand FGM is Haram it is not permissible in Islam mainly happens to Somalis and East Africans it is a cultural practice does she now says she is no longer Somali If somebody teaches you something wrong or to correct my wording they teach you in a manner that is incorrect It doesn’t mean that the information that they are giving you is incorrect What. This shows me as a proud missing river is being born Muslim does not mean anything it doesn’t mean you die upon what you were born into

Read Genesis you will discover that Rebekah was 3 years old when she was married to Isaac who was 40. The following scriptural facts are used to establish Rebekah’s age at her marriage to Isaac. 1. Sarah was 90 when Abraham was 100 (Genesis 17: 17). 2. Abraham was 100 when Isaac was born (Genesis 21: 5). 3. Sarah died at aged 127 (Genesis 23: 1-2). 4. Isaac was 40 when he married Rebekah (Genesis 25: 20). Two further facts are necessary inferences from the above four facts. 5. Sarah was 90 when Isaac was born (conclusion from 1 and 2 above). 6. Isaac was 37 when his mother Sarah died (because 127-90=37). 7.Abraham informed of Rebekah’s birth (Genesis 22: 20-23); and Sarah’s death aged 127 (Genesis 23: 1-2) Abraham informed of Rebekah’s birth when Sarah was 127. 8. Since Isaac was 37 at his mother’s death, he was 37 when Rebekah was born. 9. Since Isaac was 40 when he married Rebekah, Rebekah would be 3 when the marriage took place (because 40-37=3)

So they can oppress against the Muslim minority. So they can dictate to women, they should not wear the hijab which is of their choice. The post modernism radical leftist ideology that there is no reality, no truth to interpret or determine. Separating words from their referents in the real world, as post-modernism does, turns everything into a nothing, life itself into a game. But the coupling of emotionally evocative material with a detached, ironic stance is in fact a power game, one that is being played out by the artist with his or her audience. It is not so much a matter of playfulness, with its misplaced suggestion of innocence, as a grim parody of play. It is familiar to psychiatrists because of the way that psychopaths use displays of lack of feeling - a jokey, gamesy, but chilling, indifference to subjects that spontaneously call forth strong human emotions - to gain control of others and make them feel vulnerable.

@@ramzy7330 by the age 10 I read the Quran in Arabic without understanding the meaning . When I was in high school I started reading its translation in Farsi as well as in English, at the same time I was learning Arabic to understand the meaning in its original form as well. In the translations I noticed that there was a lot of euphemism and trickeries to manipulate the meanings and make it sound better than it is in its Arabic version. I do not evaluate Quran based on its Arabic poetry, in my native language Farsi, Rumi, Hafiz, Khyyam and a few others have written way better poetry than the author of the Quran. The criteria that I judged Quran was on the basis of its content and its message. Quran is full of contradictions, repetitive and redundant passages, scientific errors, vague and gibberish phrases, sentences and paragraphs, false claims, mixing and mistaken identities, violent verses, giving too many special rights to Muhammad (one set of rules for Muhammad and then another set of rules for all Muslims) and many other problems. I think anyone who leaves Islam and becomes an ex-muslim, that person has a good knowledge of the Koran, better than many many Muslims. All of these girls or women, read the Quran, two of them are native Arabic speakers as well, reading the Quran was the single most influential Force for them and myself to leave Islam and become ex-muslim. now if you think something is special about Quran, and an ex-muslim should look into it, please state that, ex-muslims are very open-minded, and do not operate with fixed mindset.

Most children are indoctrinated in the west to reject modesty and follow the latest trends in the media an ever evolving counter intuitive ideology. This idea that all Muslim fathers coerced their daughters to wear the hijab is misrepresentation and polemic against Islam and Muslims. Coercion only creates hypocrisy and anyone with knowledge in Islam will tell you hypocrisy is the worst character trades, one has to have the required intention to do the activities otherwise it will not be except from him/her with understanding that such activity will bring one closer to the ultimate reality (God). Quran 2:256. 256 There is no coercion in religion. Sound judgment has become clear from error. So whosoever disavows false deities and believes in God has grasped the most unfailing handhold, which never breaks. And God is Hearing, Knowing. Quran 18:29. 29 And say, “It is the truth from your Lord! So whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve.” Verily We have prepared for the wrongdoers a Fire whose canopies will encompass them. Mankind has a Jinn as a companion on earth. Satan and the Evil Ones watch Man from a place where Man cannot see them. *The Holy Qur'an* Allah says do not be deceived by Satan the Chief Deceiver of Man.

I would like to thank the women in this video for being open and vulnerable in presenting their experiences in the hope of helping others. It is a great sacrifice and I pray that it will be rewarded not only with changes in one or many lives, but in the thinking of whole societies.

Salafism is the branch of Islam sponsored by Saudi Arabia. It's funny that the US considers the country that tries to spread fundamentalism around the world an ally.

@@alexandrorocca7142 Saudi Arabia has recently adopted a Marriage Age and there have been several attempts to 'modernise'. The fact that Saudi Arabia is an ally does not mean the USA agrees with everything Saudi Arabia does. And vice-versa. Saudi Arabia may have been hoping to convert Americans and the USA may have been hoping to convert Saudis but things like that move slowly. Though, with the internet many Muslims get exposed to ideas they never thought of like the one girl in Saudi Arabia suddenly realising there were people without religion.

IF A woman has to wear hijab to be protected from men in a society, it is not a reflection of piety BUT LAWLESSNESS... ALSO IS EVERYONE THAT LEAVES ISLAM GET DIAGNOSED WITH POSSESSION, COZ I WAS..😂😂😂☦️✝️

I'm muslim, Your understanding is wrong about Hijab. Hijab is not compulsory but Islam encouraged women to cover body especially sensitive parts, it is part of Self-protecting. It not only for women but also for man. This 4 women in the video have a life with uneducated muslim family and unhelpful islamic area. cause this wrong assupmtion happen. poor them have to leave islam for misundertanding.

Such an intelligent and inspiring group of women. Watching this video brought up so many feelings I've been unable to express. Being an ex-Muslim can feel like such a lonely place, although I've not been explicit about my faith , people in my community know I'm different and I've never really fit in but on the other hand my non-muslim friends could never fully understand the issues I faced. To openly speak out against Islam is no joke. I've had grown men close to hitting me for even questioning the religion! These women are incredibly brave for putting their stories out there. I wish I could be as fearless as these ladies but instead I avoid the problem by having only non Muslim friends as I know I won't be judged or criticised.
