@@laylowreel1969 yeah! I actually just got them in yesterday, and had a few mins today to get the gears in at least. I already ran into an issue with that little support piece that goes on the end of the shaft. The motor mount extends above that slot where it goes a little bit. So it looks like I'll have to grind the motor mount a little bit just to get the gears in. Because of that I'm not sure if the motor mount will with without some grinding, but I'll definitely keep you guys posted! I'm hoping I'll have more time later today or tomorrow mess around with it.

I can't believe it, but actually destroyed a wfo 25t pinion over the weekend running a dirt course hard. My mesh was fine so that's not it. My theory is that heat and friction from continual usage such as running circles on dirt track hard over and over contributed to the break down. Most people are bashing and not running continual power. I'm now greasing the pinion and spur and running the larger cover to minimize the amount of dirt getting in there. Anyone else try greasing these gears to minimize heat and friction?

You know, the X-Maxx shouldn't need the upgrade to 1.5 mod as it SHOULD come with them in the first place. I've seen 1/10 scale RCs with 1.5 (can't recall what it was atm) and most 1/6 scale and up come with 1.5. I know my Losi's and Arrma do. I don't like how that gear is relying on a small drive pin. You'd think it would have some kind of spline system like the outdrive going into the diffs do. I've have way too many drive pins snap off in multiple RCs. One specific I can remember is the drive pin sheered of in my rear axle on the UDR. Couldn't extract it out of the axle and it took out the axle housing and the aluminum foh disk brake hex. Have them break on my Super Rock Rey axles a lot and I bought 100 extra for it.
