Honestly, i want this production to succeed. It' doesn't have to be amazing it's first go around but, i want it to set the foundation, to be a pioneer with time dilation for future titles to emulate. It's a very interesting concept and i know this title has legendary writers working on it, so i'm not worried about the writing or world building. If i have a concern, it would be likable characters like in the Mass Effect trilogy, such as Tali, Liara, Mordin, Wrex, and our boy Garrus.
@Practicallypreposterous15 сағат бұрын
It shows so much promise, unfortunately the main reason I am worried about its quality is because of one of the main elements: time dilation while traveling at light speed. I just find it hard to imagine becoming attached to storylines and characters when one Lightspeed jump could snuff out all of it. They've got to really zero in on that theme of lost time and opportunities to not make it feel like a gimmick affecting our enjoyment of the story

Same here! When I saw the first announcement on the Game Awards I wasn't to impressed. Now since I've been learning more about the lore I've been hooked. @DenshinIshin2 ай бұрын
@@NRV0 It wasn't done naturally, some (most) Celestials species aren't even mammals anymore (at least, in the book, the Celestials of the Crown dominions aren't). There's also "Changelings" which are species of humans transformed by the Celestials to serve them. They dipped a bit too much into eugenics and DNA alterations, and use their children to pass down their memory and personality and virtually live forever. So it's fair to consider them different species, even if they didn't evolve naturally for 40 thousands of years. Because they have a common ancestor doesn't mean anything anymore and Sol's humans are indeed primitive in comparison.
