EXODUS is and always will be the greatest Bay Area Thrash band & greatest band EVER PERIOD. Gary Holt is a GOD. He has also been blessed with awesome guitarists Rick & Lee. Nobody could ever replace Baloff, but Zetro & Rob can hold their own. The Big 4 should have been the big 7 with Exodus, Testament & Overkill included.

Flew in on the same plane as Exodus out of Oakland, CA...Paul Baloff chatted a bit with my girlfriend at the time and myself and actually told us about the Dynamo Festival....we were going to Europe on a whim and were big time metalhead but were unaware of the festival....attended the festival and followed the crowds around Europe to other metal shows/festivals....thank-you Paul and RIP man...

I saw Exodus in the 1980s and in the 2000s (nothing in the 1990s) and they were always a badass live band. Probably one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Slayer on their good days are tough to beat, but few IF ANY can hang with Exodus.

I remember being third or 4th row, high as a kite. Thinking, damn the guitar player doesn't fit at all (looks), but playing freaking tight. My second thought: damn the vocalist looks funny as hell and must be a nice guy. Third thought second guitar player looked a bit old but had fun. I didn't know much about Exodus, shame on me, but damn they got the crowd moving and the set went by way to fast. One of my Dynamo highlights for sure. Thanks for the upload and the memories. Edit: and I am sure the drum kit was dark green and got a heavy beating. Just awesome.

Bonded By Blood Top 10? Ahh, NOPE for me, that albums is either #1 ever or #2 with SLayer's RiB. To me, those two albums are 1 and 2 and depending on what day you ask me you may get a different answer. For my money those two albums are the most exciting, brilliant thrash records ever written and honestly it's not even close. The other great albums like Peace Sells, Master of Pups etc only have a small portion of songs on those albums that you could call thrash. NOW, the thrash songs on Master and Peace are AMAZING, but Exodus and Slayer did records where almost every song was pure thrash. I do think Testament's The Legacy is incredible (and many many other thrash records), but nothing for me comes close to Bonded and Reign.
