The musics, of this game... the graphics of this game... the story... this game is A-MA-ZING! And the way you role play your LP has never been this usefull to magnify a game! Keep this one going!

OK, so it seems like a good idea to have cargo ships distributed and specialised to a single resource. It is not. What you'll end up having is a lot of idle cargo ships, spending 3x time(=alloy) than what you need to collect everything. Or a bunch of extra storages just to move things around. Or both. Probably both. Since industry uses the most raw resources, it makes sense to land and distribute (just the cold stuff) from there. Quick tip: 3 docking bays and 2 smelters fit snugly on the 9 tiles along the "bottom" wall. Mining and science ships can be anywhere else since they don't bring things back, BUT it makes sense to put docks in for them in the sector where you have the research center and 3(!!) EVAs. The space specialisation bonus is HUGE. If you want to reorganise a sector, just add in 3-4 extra alloy stockpiles temporarily. You already have 2 workhops, it'll go really fast.

Loving this series! There is a lot of good tech but if you want to make Sector 3 a food sector, you should look into the Fusion Station and Crop Farm. The crop farms have 9 4X4 fields each producing as much food as an insect farm in far less space but they need water (hence, the Fusion Station). I still haven't completed Chapter 2 but deciding on what to research and when has been the biggest challenge for me.

Hey Darren, great series so far! I love the pace and the overall building space optimization! One thing though, when you turn ice to water, you CANNOT "move" water between sectors, they are stored in the relative sectors ONLY.

It’s been 10 months since episode 3 came out and u never posted anything after I absolutely loved the way u rped and loved how the story was going to im pretty sure others can agree with me too please just continue the series 🙏

Great video so far! Really enjoy your IXION LP! Regarding your pace and style of playing: While in earlier videos (couple of years back) I sometimes felt it was a bit too slow for me, especially lately you have been nailing it as far as I'm concerned. Same goes for your Satisfactory series. Really like the rhythm you got going!

just for info. you can see the size of a building in the building selector, in addition, it would be great if you could bring in a little of the concept that you have in satisfactory into Ixion. In Satisfactory, where it doesn't matter if you overload your powergrid, you care for the powerlevels. But here, where it damages the reputation and endangers your population you just don't care . a little looking and reading before clicking would make this series much more enjoyable

Try to build more stockpile for food than food production building...i think it will help

You mate, are the Michael Schumaker of how to drive Ixion. Cautious blend of safety versus progression. Ignore the nay-sayers that only want to be entertained and "see what's next". If I was in a war I'd have you on my fire-team ANY day for your quick evaluation and decision making to produce best possible outcome in the face of the unknown.

I agree that it is an annoying event to get for leaving the system. When you get one for staying too long. Yeah take your time, the game kills you if you rush it, it seems.

Before interplanetary travel, power down all systems except those for life support. This will allow further travel distances.

Orrr build enough power storage so that nothing needs to power down :)

@@WhatDarrenPlays I found out that batteries don't need roads, only when being constructed. Might help with space optimization ;)
