Same hear. Most of the stores in my area are lame specializing mostly in pet supplies. Not animals. Only two really good pet stores near me in my area. But they don’t compare to how cool this place looks.

I love birds so much. And you're right they do bond with their owners. I've got an African Grey Parrot who I absolutely love. She's got no chill and will bite essentially anyone that isn't me so I can't really show her off like that. I'm the luckiest person to have such a gorgeous parrot that loves me so much. Now if I could only get her to stop biting everyone that would be great lmao.

There is an lfs in roswell ga with a breeding pair of some sort of ram and they sell the babies when theyre grown up with what gen they are. I remember when the first gen was little and now theyre up to selling the 4th generation. They also have a breeding pair of axolotls and they showcase babies in the checkout with a little biblical text about life

Darn, I visited Mesa 3 times in 2014 when my son lived there, would have loved to see this store!

Hurry up and come to Australia, visit sea-life(underwater world) on the sunshine coast of Queensland along with the Irwin's Australia zoo a short as drive south. There is a great LFS called The Tech Den on the sunshine coast and there are two others, Smith's Aquarium in boondall is a specialist freshwater seller with great rare species and display tanks. There is also another one Aquarama towards the Brisbane CBD that has great coral ranges.
