I actually have an idea for a single-shot Heavy GL of my own. For now, I’m just calling it the Lightbomb. Its intrinsic perk states that it copies your currently equipped grenade, and its exotic perk states that holding reload lets you consume one grenade charge to gain one heavy ammo.

I like the idea, but honestly it would be cool if it took the grenade ability of whatever you killed with it in an augmented mode. For pvp it's simple, but in pve many enemies have "grenade" abilities and that's what you'd copy. Perhaps upon death you lose the grenade "stolen"?

Another idea I'm too lazy to put on Reddit... Exotic Titan arms called Zavala's Embrace. Exotic trait would be called Immeasurable Light - casting a Ward of Dawn gives players who enter the bubble a shield (50 hp) that lasts outside of the bubble for 10 seconds. Also casting the bubble drops 4 void wells. ALSO standing inside of the bubble increases super energy rate by a small amount. The last trait is a symbol of how Zavala and his character actor Lance Reddick affected the game and its players. This exotic should be super OP for a whole season. Rest in peace, Lance ❤. To anyone who reads this, just know you are loved, don't be too hard on yourself, forgive yourself, and never give up on improving yourself no matter what. Would be cool if it gave you even stronger buffs, but you held the bubble like he did in d2's first mission. Instead of an increased regeneration rate, it just continously drops motes of light. It should also boost the damage multiplier to 30%, especially since you're one gun down.

Bubble Titans haven't been scarry since d1, there are far too many ways of dealing with bubbles and other supers are far more lethal when you go to confront them, besides you'd be using up your exotic slot for this idea anyways But something else I know is your the "poor me warlocks have it the hardest" while not bothering with solar grenades or your stasis options, aren't you? Or perhaps you're a hunter that can't be bothered to use arc for the easy ohk melee nor solar and stacking a few explosions? There's also numerous weapons that get that job done quite easily such as any 1 2 punch, many heavys, almost every sword, witherhoard, need I continue?

If i could ask bungie to add a certain new exotic it would be the bl2 unkempt Harold or something inspired by it. The idea would be a kinetic hand cannon that could possibly be a power or special weapon. It would fire explosive rounds that travel slower than normal projectiles and split off into multiple projectiles after a certain distance. For the catalyst it can be something called staggered payload where there are secondary explosions from where the projectiles impacted doing a percentage of the original damage. It seems weird but this is a gun I would really want in the game.

I still think an exotic Kinetic sword with an Osmosis type perk would be really cool. And having the heavy attack being a ground slam that's effect changes based on the element the sword currently is. Kinetic: High damage AOE shockwave. Void: Makes nearby enemies Volatile. Arc: Makes nearby enemies Jolted. Solar: causes Ignition on nearby Enemies. Stasis: Makes Exploding crystals that freeze nearby Enemies Strand: Lifts nearby enemies (Haven't really had enough time to workshop something for strand yet but this sounds interesting. Kinda like the artifact perk).

I had an idea for an exotic Auto rifle Pack Mule Perk: Ammo Foundry: Shooting an ammo brick picks it up and reloads all equipped weapons for you and nearby allies. Trait: Resupply: Triggering Ammo Foundry creates a stack of reserve ammo corresponding to the ammo brick shot. Hold R to release all stockpiled ammo reserves.(basically spawn them at your feet) basically, this gun lets you shoot at ammo bricks that are too far away for you to grab, in a risky area, or about to fall off the map, and drop ammo for your allies. Its meant for a support role that's not just 'more healing' or 'more damage', but still useful and not niche enough to be useless.

Was going through someones comment on some bad juju changes they thought were cool, and ended up coming up with an exotic strand fusion rifle called hivemind. The exotic perk, called serve the hive, was after a kill, it spawned two threadling eggs, the threadlings. Both the weapon and the threadlings have anti-barrier. With the trait being hatchlings so you could get potentially more threadlings with multikills.

Conditional Finality inspired idea. Name: Fluxweave 180 RPM Kinetic Slot Scout Intrinsic Trait: Absence/Omnipotence- Fires both Strand and Void damage types. Alternate Weapon Action swaps between them. Arrowhead Brake Light Mag Exotic Trait: Hollow Threads - After getting kills with an specific damage type, the weapon gains a temporary buff that affects the opposite damage type when you swap to that damage type. Void- Fires larger, heavy rounds (120 RPM Base Damage + 20% buff) that are Volatile. Strand- Fires quicker(260 RPM Base Damage + 20% Buff), lighter rounds that Unravel. Composite Stock *These effects are from Unraveling and Volatile Rounds, making this strong against Barrier Champs. While in an alt fire mode, you can't build up charge for the other.*

"Spirit of the Vanguard" Kinetic Heavy Dual Sword Archetype - Increased sword swing speed, attack rate, guard resistance, and AoE range at a decent cost of damage output and energy recovery. Peace to the Fallen - kills have a chance to spawn Orbs of power and your subclasses corresponding drop. Rapid kills increase this chance and add an overshield that lasts 3 seconds but resets on kills. Vengeance - Collecting an Orb of Power increases Recovery, Resistance and heals a small amount. Collecting your subclasses drop temporarily changes the weapons damage type and increases damage. Catalyst Reddick's Blade - Rapid strikes return ammo at an increased rate. Hold interact to consume ammo for increased damage.

I have an idea for a grenade launcher. It would be called The Darkest Crusade, it's exotic quote would be "the darkness lives in all of us, some refuse to use it and the rest are foolish" the magazine would hold 8 rounds inside it and shoots 70 rounds per minute It's exotic perk is when shot on any surface grenades will stick to that surface and over time each grenade fired will gain a buff called "explosive darkness" which increases each grenades damage to a maximum stack of 5 per grenade fire. Whenever you fired a grenade after you've fired 8 already the first grenade you fired will disappear. It would have a design similar to the grenade from vow except making it into a heavy grenade launcher, make it all black and the grenade glow yellow from inside the launcher

I've always wanted a true second class ability for all of the classes Hunter getting a sentry turret that can be mounted on the ground having a lot of health and rapid fire (like the cabal sentry) OR a drone version that would hover around the area with less health and a burst damage, both would have a longer cool down time and deal the offensive element effect of the subclass Titans would get a self buff that gives them an overshield and a personal buff, OR a offensive buff as well as offensive augmentation (think 10% more damage as well as volatile/scorch/jolt) for a temporary amount of time, would be in a medium recharge rate Warlocks would get a teleport ability that Heals them and gives them a personal buff and either teleports them back 5 seconds OR somewhere within 25 meters More variety with class abilities is a good thing. Arc titan has a very good addition, but solar hunter, whole it may be useful, doesn't change anything up.

there could still be various ideas regarding champions…. i suppose a heavy weapon that when shooting/hitting an lets say barrier champion it applies a debuff, that makes the barrier champion turn into idk a overload champion for a period of time so that your teammates, that equipped overload stuns can finish it off. this would make this exotic a pretty niche choice to run. and regarding balancing it would have only 1 Rocket/Gl Ammo.

I’ve got an idea, conclusive judgment, a hand cannon that stuns unstoppable champions, it’s a kinetic hand cannon with the ability to become weaker to its shots and it stacks until the final bullet in which it causes a kinetic explosion that does massive damage, it’s secondary perk is while you have 3 stacks there is a random chance to refund a bullet stacking the debuff more, and it gets disruption break to increase its damage further, its catalyst gives it increased reload speed and range and a bit of stability and gives it adaptive munitions, the ultimate kinetic pve hand cannon

They did double elements with conditional finality why not a stasis and stand combo, maybe shattering a target/stasis crystal spawns threadings and these threadlings freeze targets. A nice loop that tops onto the darkened element. Or maybe when they add the third darkness subclass it’s like headlight but all three of the dark elements.

I thought of a cool warlock exotic called beauty of pain and grace which states while aiming down sights with lumina consume your healing grade and fire a resurrection round that tracks to nearby ghost and causes your ally to reduce if in a gm or raid it consumes a token It's second is when aiming down sights with the thorn hand cannon consume your threadling grenade to fire a corrupted threadling army (these won't come back to the warlock) that spread corruption when the hit an enemy and do increased damage to normal threadlings

Catalyst increases maximum stacks by 4 and now you get 2 stacks from killing an enemy

Blitzekrieg - Exotic Titan Arm Piece Flavor Text: To war we go, with the speed of lightning, and the precision of a hawk. You fire a micro rocket at the cost of your melee charge, that does heavy single target damage of the same energy type as your Subclass. You are automatically grappled to the Rocket without the cost of your grapple Charge. When grappled to the rocket, it is considered a full grapple, and thus you can grapple melee out of it. Idea. Everyone likes flying around with your grapple and rocket, so what if we made that less expensive and more expendable. Okay hear me out. I have an idea that’s pretty similar to legend of acrius but it’s a bit different. Its essentially a heavy shot gun that you have charge like a linear fusion rifle but shoots a projectile like LOA, but slightly bigger. It over penetrates and has a short range. Think of the BFG from doom, but it’s a strand shotgun in destiny. And on kills it creates threadlings for a bit more fun

sounds a little strong, but if you limit the amount of shots a turret has and imo either lose the debuff or the overload (the debuffs now have antichamp anyway) i think it could work

Alright, like the element changing idea that you added, and depending on the element it still does something, for Void it weakens, for Solar it applies scorch stacks, and for arc is makes enemies jolt, (I guess? There isn’t much else for arc to do)

I have been working on an exotic idea. Here's what I have so far. Exotic Heavy Trace Rifle. Name: Voidfire Annihilator Description: The Voidfire Annihilator is an exotic heavy trace rifle that harnesses the power of the Void and the Solar energy to deal massive damage to enemies. This weapon is a prototype weapon created by the Awoken, but it fell into the hands of the Drifter, who modified and enhanced it to become a devastating weapon of destruction. Appearance: The Voidfire Annihilator has a sleek, angular design with a black and silver color scheme. It features glowing purple and orange accents that pulse with energy when the weapon is charged. The barrel of the weapon is long and thin, with a series of intricate engravings etched into the metal. The trigger is located on the underside of the weapon, and the grip is wrapped in a black synthetic material. Perks: Voidfire Beam - This weapon fires a continuous beam of Void and Solar energy that deals massive damage to enemies. The longer the weapon is fired, the more damage it deals. Enhanced Battery - This weapon has an enhanced battery that allows it to fire for an extended period before needing to be reloaded. Exotic idea: “T.O.OB” A fusion rifle by technicality it holds 40 rounds in the magazine and after a short charging delay dumps the entire magazine out in one sitting. It’s ammo consumption and ttk would be similar to Coldheart. It is a kinetic fusion rifle that has a visual design similar to its real life inspiration , the Tube smg type that is known for being easily manufactured in a private workshop.

T.O.OB Intrinsic trait : “dump mag” Fires the full magazine at increased fire rate Exotic perk: “give your all” Multi kills grant a full reload and an increase magazine size after the clip is depleted. At stack x2 increases damage with every new stack. At stack x4 refunds ammo into reserves based on the amount of multikills. “A desperate soldier never holds back. He throws every single advantage he has at the enemy, praying it to be enough”

Ok i have a few Titan exotic arms idea: sleeves of repulsion When your barricade/ward of dawn is damaged it adds a multiplier on the side and depending on how much damage the barricade/ward has received it stacks it, and those stacks add on to your next melee hit dealing large amounts of damage. Hunter exotic legs:idk a good name Essentially it replaces your shadowdive invis with a void oversheild instead but not as strong as the titan one to balance Warlock stasis helmet: broken whispers When you deal large amounts of shatter damage there is a high chance to drop an orb of power (or alternatively grant energy like nezzy sin)
