A couple of notes after watching your video. I own a 2014 brz limited 6MT. 1 The USB port won't charge your phone, tried my iphone and actually it drains the battery if you leave it connected for extended periods of time(car is on of course). 2- the empty plastic space between the trac off and vsc sport setting is only available as a button in the automatic version for snow and sport/manual mode and is not specific to northern regions. Great review! I like that you went thru the trunk and gas lever, and even the buttons inside the car.. i sat on one of these in the dealership but i didnt get full detail bout the car but with this review it helped me made my decision! Thanks man!

Bought my limited edition brz not 7 months ago. I go driving weekly in it just to drive. These cars are amazing. If you enjoy driving, and enjoy the road, get a brz/frs. Its worth every penny.

Im getting a new car soon and the BRZ/FRS has my attention the most. But what sucks about these cars is the back seat :( if I want to take friends somewhere they will be so cramped back there. Anyway, best review I've watched so far. Great job!

The Limited trim also comes with the fake CF dashboard panels, I'm not sure if that applies to all trim levels for the 2015 models or just the Limited and Series.Blue.

Hi there - really good video - how are those seats on a journey of an hour or more ? Torn between the WRX and this car ! Love the look of the BRZ but probably need the practicality of the WRX...

My longest drive so far was when i drove to a lake about 1 1/2 hours away, making it a 3 hour round trip. i made that trip twice now. once was with one passenger, and it was as comfortable as a BMW sedan. that other time was with 4, yes 4 people. (including myself) that was pretty cramped. so it just depends, if your going to have people in the back seats, get the WRX. in my case, i rarely have more than one passenger. Yes the BRZ is a bit more "sporty" when it comes to a windy road, but the WRX has everything a practical car lover wants. IMO, the new WRXs look drop dead gorgeous!

Hey nice review. An advise for next time, please don't mention something that people will find it obvious. Like the gas door switch, change am/fm, how to get to the back seat. It seems like you are trying to lengthen the video unnecessarily. Other than that, good job on the review.

So at 5'11" how do you fit in the driver's seat? I'm 6'3" and am worried that this might be a bit too cramped. I might go to a dealer to try it out sometime though.

Going to a dealer is probably your best bet. At 5'11" i have the seat moved a bit forward with plenty of room over my head. My dad at 6'1" fits with no problem at all. i would imagine you would too.

Thanks for the feedback! And well, i never drove either wrx or civic. if you could, it probably be best to test drive all of them. they're 3 very different cars so id imagine you'd make up your mind quit easily.

Hey man just thought id let you know today I test drove the SI and while i was at the Honda dealer I got to drive the FRS to kind of give me an idea of what the BRZ is like and I had a lot of fun with it. I think i like it more than the SI but its way smaller in person that i had imagined.

Dominick Isaac i personally like the size of the BRZ/FRS. its compact so you have more garage space while it is also fun on a windy and narrow road.

Whats your opinion on the head unit for the series blue? I've heard so many bad things about the brz head unit which is honestly my deciding factor between a brz and an frs.

I think it's just fine. i never had any problems with it nor heard of any.

i think so. for the 2 grand, you get all the luxuries that would have ran a fortune in a german car. like leather, heated seats, etc. as far as the exterior, people would know it the limited by the beautiful spoiler, and fog lights. end of the day, its mostly opinionated. check both out, and choose the one you think is the right one.

How many cars under 2800 pounds come with 300 hp out of the factory? That's overkill in stock form and matches the level of expensive exotics in power to weight ratio which isn't something you really want in a mass produced car that costs less than 30 grand primarily because of safety.

I know that the scion frs and the brz are identical but why did u pick the brz over the frs?

More options. The frs for the most part is kinda as it sits. with the brz, you have the option to opt to leather, dual climate control, hands free blue tooth connectivity, all the little features like that. As far as preference, i honestly like the styling the brz has with it's daytime running LEDs. Plus, and this may just be me, i'd rather drive a subaru than scion as far as brands go. especially this one with STI badges even though it's no true STI. really its all preference but that was just my reasoning.

Ray Zala Use a fabric pen to remove the blue and make it whatever you want. The only problem left then is the wheel and seats. You could get a cover for the wheel, not sure what to do with the blue bolsters though.
