The star on the Israeli flag is not the star of David. That symbol comes from Babylon. The star reference concerning Jacob is not referring to a symbol but, rather, to a person. The Star was Yeshua. The Scepter is symbolic of His (Yeshua) future role as King of Israel ( Israelites). In the strictly Orthodox neighborhoods of Jerusalem, where most Rabbi's and practicing Jews live, the Israeli flag is not flown nor displayed.

God declared it, repeated it many times, and then made it happen. He came to Earth as a man, lived a righteous and sinless life, was falsely accused, they hanged Him on a cross until He died, they laid Him in the tomb, but on the third day He rose again in glory. He is now seated in power on the right hand of the Father. He's alive and well. And He's coming back soon.

Reading the Bible and not applying current cultural norms leads to conclusions most will stubbornly refuse to accept. They will backslide, dig in their heels and refuse to move forward. Chuck Missler brings out the fact that Baalam and Balak would have seen the camp of Israel around the tabernacle in a shape of a cross according to the manner and populations in which each of the 4 designated groups were situated. I know and understand that archaeology does not prove the bible but the other way about. God's word is without dispute and is all true. That being said, I love the simplicity and on the ground approach you bring to the history via archaeology and walking the paths, showing the sites and placing the locations in perspective using high quality maps to show me where things were and happened. I just finished reading the book of Joshua and it is so hard to follow without knowing such places and locations in the land they, the people of Israel were given. i love God and Jesus but also don't like this worlds view on God that he is a mean vandictive demands worship or else god, which seems ALL the religions seem to indicate. when read the bible god seems like not very nice untill you start getting into enoch and estoteric studys then it starts to make sense. it says god is NEVER CHANGING. jesus sied his followers did NOT have "His sprit" when he wanted god to essentualy nuke "wrong religion" peaople from existance. jesus loved the woman at the well NOT bsaed on her belief but based on her THANKFULLness.
