A new generation of stars join the world’s top action stars for an adrenaline-fueled adventure in Expend4bles. Reuniting as the team of elite mercenaries, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone are joined for the first time by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy Garcia. Haha your intro it too real, I swear I sat there for half an hour before I published my review deciding on the spelling. Completely agree that the 2nd movie is by far the best one, and completely agree that the cast, CGI, and dialogue are all garbage in this installment. Lets hope this is the last entry we get in this franchise...Great review, Jacob!

I want to tell you about Megan Fox. Her performances were horrible and laughable. I really miss other Action Legends 💔💔🙁

None of the Expendables movies are exactly high art, but I at least expecting this one to be serviceable. The fact it was terrible was actually a bit surprising to me. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this lol

I just finish watch this film. I think this film depends on the audience. If you care about action and war, then this film is good. the score can be 8.5/10. If you care about plot and story, then this film is not good. the score can be 6/10. If you care about CGI, then this film is not good. the score can be 6,5/10. if you care about acting quality, then this film is pretty good. the score can be 7/10. if you care about all (action, war, plot, story, CGI and acting), then this movie is bad. the score can be 6.5/10. because no matter what, the plot and story will influence everything.

That's the problem. This franchise could've been better if it were more layered and exciting with its content. But it's constantly introducing new characters and subplots that aren't given enough time because audiences are expected to immediately become interested. By the second sequel, it's briefly mentioned how The Expendables were created but there's never enough exploration of that story simply from being constantly sidetracked and underutilized. This installment was already doomed because of certain "actors" that didn't belong and essentially not seeming to raise the bar any higher than what was set three movies ago. Unfortunately this once again makes this sequel another predictable popcorn flick as the films it's emulating.

Expendables 4, John Wick 4 and Mission Impossible 7 prove that these franchises have exhausted themselves, action wise and one dimensional plot wise into oblivion. They were all garbage. At least Dial of Destiny focused on STORY and characters first before the spectacle. Same with The Flash. Stallone dying within the first 15 minutes had me dying of laughter because it's clear that he didn't want any part of this schlock. But he got his check and let the rest of the film rot. And boy did it ever. I mean, the last film had Harrison Ford and Mel Gibson. What do we get now? Megan Fox and Fiddy. Fire the casting director and everyone.
