I'm glad to see a review on this. It's rarely talked about and it's a really good sounding (and beautiful) device. The DCA Stealth sounds good on it too, but I haven't tried a more powerful system since this one. I don't listen at high volumes either so it may be difficult to get the Stealth to really shine with this system. Still, I don't feel dissatisfied. I am curious about that Ferrum Audio stack though, but I don't know if I want something more analytical with headphones like the dca stealth or he1000se that are already fairly analytical in their tuning.

I wouldn't call the Ferrum stack analytical. Chord TT2, yes its analytical; Ferrum, I would say, is neutral; check out our two videos on them.

Thanks for the review. I have a Atom HE and I generally match it with the Meze Elites and a Cardas Clear Headphone cables. I think its a fantastic match with plenty of detail.

Needs ifi IEMatch noise reducer works after that. But I’ve also need attention on high gain amps when using it as a pre-amp.

You are the second person who said they had noise issues with their unit. That is weird the unit I had was quiet.
