@@TampaBayDiving I just watched another video on this and he stated that you do not need to have access to the park; in fact he stated it would be better to do it on an off day. Do you know if this is still the case?

@SummersideDiver That's correct you do not need to purchase park admission to do the dive. The Guest Services booth (where you meet the Aquarium Staff) is outside and to the right of the main entrance. From there, they will take you backstage and begin the tour. However, if any family or friends want to view your dive then they will have to purchase admission. We were there beforehand and wanted to get some rides in so we went into the park. Highly recommend diving the Georgia Aquarium over Epoct. Costs about $350 but WHALE SHARKS! You'll get a DVD of your dive and a PADI C-card (means nothing but still cool.)

We had planned to dive the Georgia Aquarium on our way home from our North Carolina trip. Unfortunately, the hurricane cut that trip short. I've heard mixed reviews on it. Some have said that the GA Aquarium only lets you stay on the bottom rather than explore. One thing I can say positively about Disney is you are free to explore the entire space with the animals. @@TampaBayDiving it is a guided dive because there’s a ton of very large wildlife. The guides carry batons incase the Goliath groupers get a little too curious. I enjoyed it, I’ll go again with my wife so she can experience it.

I have not done Epcot experience. I have dove in the Denver Colorado aquarium a couple of times. MY cousin is an Instructor there. It is an experience. They have a try scuba type of program at the Denver aquarium.

Were you able to stay in the park after the dive or are you escorted back to Guest Services outside?

Unfortunately not, you're escorted out to the guest services booth. We purchased tickets since we were there all day anyway. The later dive is the better one to do. So we just enjoyed going on rides until that time.

My partner and I went diving there for our first dive together it was great. But what ruined the whole thing was that no photos were taken or could be taken . We dove there January 12th . I've been searching the internet ever since for someone who got pictures or a video
