​@@TorenMire27 They host multiple running events throughout the year, right now is the princess half marathon weekend. Which includes a 5k, 10k, and half marathon. In April is the springtime surprise which includes a 5k, 10k, and 10 mile. Later this year we have the wine and dine half marathon, and finally for Disney World is the Disney Marathon hosted within the first few weeks of January. All in all, they are a lot more fun, plus you get to see some rare characters, and then brag to everyone for the remainder of your trip that you ran a marathon at Disney.

Plenty of people do light jogs in the parks when they’re trying to make it to certain spots in time for lightning lane reservations and restaurant reservations. 😅 Would be pretty easy to say that’s what you’re on the way to do if security ever does stop you. He made such a big deal about running around security. lol they aren’t going to chase you down. I have never ever seen a security guard run ever. Just like guests aren’t allowed to run neither are cast. The worst they would do is yell at you or check the video cam footage to ban you or stop you at the exit of the park. I appreciate you getting fearful of them but they wouldn’t really do much if you were actively running.
