I had my first UK driving test yesterday. 30+ years of driving (in the USA). 6 months of driving in the UK, zero UK lessons. Used online training course for the theory & hazard portion, just relied on a lot of your videos (and a few other creators) to give me some idea of what to expect on the driving test. I had a quite a few minors, but I passed!! Huzzah!!

Pretty common to see experienced drivers fail for being too confident but for a driving test the learner needs to be confident but not that much

What a great driver. The things with the parallel parking really sucked because I can totally understand his thinking of, let me get out of the way quickly so people can get through, but yeah as soon as that biker started backing up it became a mess. The mini roundabout hesitation again sucks because not totally his fault. Aman, do you have any special responsibility/expectation from the council to report things like that? When you as a driving instructor come across faded or bad marking or obstructed or missing signs or anything like that, since you are a instructor and paying close attention to things like that do you have to report them so the council can fix those issues? Or are you treated as just a regular road user. Guaray also drives surprising great with a manual car even though he's going for a automatic. His faults really just came down to not going into gear 1 when it would be smart to do so. Could be a good idea for him to driver around with a manual for like a week or so just to knead out those very minor issues with the gearing even if he intends to drive only automatic in the future because you never know when you will be forced to drive a manual.
