For the half load option, does the left arrow mean wash the top load and right arrow mean bottom load? Sounds like a dumb question but major argument in my household and this is not specified in any instruction manual or video anywhere. Thanks.

I opened it mid cycle to find out. The triangle pointed up washed the bottom rack. Think of the lights in the triangle like the dishes. More dishes on the bottom of the triangle washes the bottom. I can't believe they don't even specify this in the manual!!

I press and hold turbo 3 seconds and it goes to 1.43 minutes, I want it to go to 33 minutes , it's only 3 year old and I don't use it every day , I turn the extra dry off . I can only get it down to 59 minutes

I am disappointed that the dishwasher is set so far under the counter that once the cycle begins it is impossible to know when it is over unless you use a separate timer. When I aske the company to resit the machine they said that LG deliberately designed the controls to be out out of reach of children. The store display did not show this. I will be glad to replace this machine - very awkward.

The *Extra Function : Hold 3 sec On top of the Start button. What does that do ???

That's a very good question. The "Extra Function: Hold 3 sec" is kind of like an instruction to activate the sub-option of a certain button (written on the bottom of the button/main option). For example, when you press on the Delay Start, it will activate the Delay Start, but when you press and hold that button for 3 seconds, it will activate the sub-option which is "Wi-Fi" instead. The same goes when you press the "Start" button, it will start/begin the cycle, but when you press and hold it for 3 seconds, the cycle will be cancelled (as "Cancel" is the sub-option written on the bottom of the "Start" button). ~Bridget ^^

@@chhatbarg ok try to fill the rinse aid and salt irrespective of the indicator. Please note the rinse aid will start floating which means it's full and fill the salt 500 grams every 3 weeks. In the meantime please report this to the manufacturer and see if it's a sensor issue. Hopefully you have registered your warranty in website.

Infact hey are unable to diagnose and /or acknowledge the issue since more than a month now. I have tried filling in rinse aid. However, as its not getting consumed, there is no space to topup.

After watching videos trying to figure out how to work this thing without enrolling in a rocket science college course, I have found 90% BAD reviews and most people are really struggling to figure these super complicated controls out. I would definitely recommend NOT buying one of these. As Elon Musk would say, "THIS IS A DUMB DESIGN." WAY, WAY, WAY OVER COMPLICATED FOR A DISHWASHER. I AM FEELING RIPPED OFF. 1/2" thick manual! What good is the app when the dishwasher shuts off after a few minutes and you have to go to it physically to turn it back on. Door is to high, I cannot see or press any buttons unless I open the dishwasher door. How about you guys make a replacement door with buttons on front 1 Normal, 2 Heavy, 3 delicate, 4 high temp, 5 No heat dry, 6 Start, 7 Cancel And for god sakes no dual purpose buttons. Also it weird that buttons work when released not when pressed.
