Souflo, you’re really blessed with a great woman, who is also a great mother. I’ve been married 8 years to my beautiful Jamaican Queen. She’s super smart, super sexy and a great mom to our beautiful son. Unfortunately, for the past 5 years she’s be struck with a horrible mental illness, she can’t even work. But l’m loving her through all because I believe God has a plan. Frustration hit me somedays, but faith and watching my wife strength keeps me strong.

Yes black Jamaicans worship white people especially the ones who work in the service industry. I think it started this way because back in the olden days Jamaicans were used to seeing mostly white tourists acting like big spenders, staying in these resorts whereas the average black Jamaican couldn’t afford to do so, so the Jamaicans thought these white people were so wealthy and worshiped them. Well times have changed, black people now have big bucks and stay in these resorts. Jamaicans need to change their thinking and stop worshipping these people

Thanks for highlighting these attitudes among Caucasians visiting Jamaica. Jamaican workers need to hear this in the hope that their consciousness will be raised, and they will adapt their responses accordingly to combat these 'Karen' attitudes. SMH 😡

Fam put it like this the bar tenders in the states relies on tip because the job it self does not pay much so the hotel now in Jamaica tip is what the worker depends on room service/servers the tips crazy I seen on the table especially if a regular guest

I have had multiple experiences like this in JA where "dem" people get facety. I went on so bad the lady was in tears and apologized for her behavior. Its sad to see our own people running behind them begging for their approval
