If you can afford it, use both lights. Add a 'white PVC' film on the ceiling to reflect more light. Just to brighten the enclosure and make the shadows deeper at certain places. Make one light on a timer to turn on, just a few hours extra during peak hours to brighten it even more. Before dulling it back. Ideally, you would switch to moonlight blue-ish white during the evening hours. I think that would be cool.

Why do this? Sure, in all likelihood both are going to be fine, but why needlessly risk animals under your care? As keepers its our jobs to minimize risk to them, isn't it? I've seen avics end up on the floor of their enclosures, and it only takes a second for one tarantula to mortally wound another. What's actually to be gained here, aside from you getting views?

Exactly, Exotics lair was doing dumb shit as well to get more views. Resulted in one of his A. Geniculata's falling down with a burst abdomen. This kinda is a turn off for watching the channel again.

I just linked this to a Biologist ... after 1 minute...the first thing he says is, "because he's seen it a few times it has to be true" lets ignore the fact most Tarantulas found in the wild have borrows no where near each other...as if... I wonder... could they possibly wander outside of a few meters ... no that cant be true...because some guy said he saw this in a home built terrarium. therefore in the wild tarantulas have borrows right next to each other...

honestly i think keeping two in the same enclosure is pretty easy if you were to have an enclosure that size i think that guides say never keep two in the same enclosure just so people dont get any ideas if you tell someone to never do something then they probably wouldnt do it if you tell someone that its possible then they might try and do it without knowing exactly what they need to do and getting an animal killed i remember in school one of my teachers said that half of the things that we learn arent exactly true but are simplified to make it easier to learn

there's always a chance of that when you keep animals that shouldn't be kept together, together. hes seemed to always been big on doing what's best for the animal within reason, I don't know why that seems to be changing now for the sake of youtube experiments, especially when this could've easily been an enclosure seperater option :/

Greetings and salutations! Just a tip: when you break a piece of a plant off, you can usually propegate it and have a whole new plant! Some plants you can just put straight into the dirt and it will grow roots as long as it isnt left to dry out. You can also grow roots by putting the bottom part into water (just take off any leaves that would be in water first). Google the name of the plant and how to re-grow it to be sure how. If you dont know the name, you can do a Google search by photo (little camera you click on beside search bar). Best wishes always! I sure appreciate you. I would trim a lot of the old leaves for a tidier look and add a lot of forest most. Gonna look soo nice and fresh when the plants grow back in with new leaves. Moss will also help to keep the humidity up 😅
