So it appears the biggest trade-off in going more efficient is loss of visible light. Can you comment a little bit on how much darker say, a 60% is versus an 80%? Thanks.

Can you do a video on energy efficiency requirements for replacement windows and installation? I live in San Antonio and I have installers that are afraid to put in or sell anything lower than a 366 window because it might violate energy efficiency requirements for various buiding codes. I live on a heavily shaded lot and don't want a further reduction in natural light into my home.

I’m finally ready to replace all home windows, about 40 windows. What I’ve seen locally in showrooms, the higher the uv protection the bluer the glass. Is that normal? I find it extremely unattractive. Any suggestions? We don’t want to finance, if paying cash/check, how would you make installments, what is acceptable for me and window company? Should I ask for cash discount or they may prefer people that finance (maybe make more money that way?). I doubt you’d know of a good company in my town (wish you were here), but where do I find your list of suggested companies, your link gets error and if I go directly on my browser it gets error too.
