. I've never been claustrophobic but that house would make me one given the severe lack of windows on the ground floor. No matter what room (except bathrooms) I'm in I want to be able to see outside and use the windows as an escape from fires.

Flooring was great, but it was so good to see the chickens again . I missed them and the ducks. Of course, it's always great seeing Dogdog , Da Boss, and the kidos.. you always do such a great job with your videos, I sure appreciate all that you do!! I'm glad to be a small part of BealyGood Nation... my first video was you guys looking at the blue farm house with Chris, and I only been watching Chris for a few weeks at that time. Now you both are stuck with me watching lol.. 😊😊😊 Gives me Joy!!!

Just curious, maybe I missed it being talked about, but why didn't you pour the basement floor, before adding the main floor system? Also, why not do the below grade waterproofing, drainage, and gravel fill, for the ease of workers being able to walk directly onto the main level. Thanks, and can't wait to see the progression!
@BealyGood
@BealyGood 3 ай бұрын
The basement pour (and main floor pour) are being done later as there is a lot of work that has to be done before that. I’ll go into more detail in a future video. As for the waterproofing and backfill. Timing and scheduling. Pretty much every step of the build involves a partnership and part of that is often trying to have representatives from the manufacturer onsite to show how the product(s) work and also sometimes have others out for training. To make the schedules line up for all involved almost always moves the order of things around a bit.

So Geoff you are going to stack the main floor before you pour the lid to the basement? Or is it going to be where the lid and the main floor walls are going to be poured like the floor of the pool? I figured you would pout the lid using a single course of single side block so you could have a solid floor to anchor the plum wall bracing to, the steel floor pan would be hard to anchor too, but a 4 inch pour would allow tapcons to be used. Building is coming along nicely.

really enjoy the channel have watched it since the start of the pond build. question about the house. is the upstairs going to be the living area and the bedrooms on the ground floor? I was just wondering if the ground floor area has less natural light than anticipated?

The main floor is the living area. The basement is all entertainment area.

@@BealyGood ah i see! Sorry being english we call the lowest floor the ground floor so i thought the lowest floor you had built was the living area not the basement . Its going to be superb 👍

I see you only have one sand filter you should have at least two three is even better and at least for the pump you should have one horse power per sand filter and that is the ultimate system for your pool 😊 by the way I used to have a above ground pool and our filter could pump out are pool four times in a hour 😊

I have two. One for each pool. I just put one in to help with the layout. The pumps are variable speed. 😁
