explain common problems for HP 950 printhead and cartridges HP officejet pro 8610 8600

I have a problem with my printhead for hp officejet pro 7720. So the color mixed together with other color, I have clean it with cleaning solution for several times, but the problem keep happen. What should i do? Should i dissasamble it to know the problem?

Thanks so much for the information. So question when there is not proper pumping because of the strip becoming unglued, does that cause the system supply error in the 8710 8720 7740 models?

that is different issue, when strip ungluded , it only showed depleted acrtridge. ink system errors are mostly happened chamber vinyl hole, or chamber cracked . ( low chamber pressure )

Here is another question, sorry for so many... So I have had many customers get the issue with the colors like yellow or magenta come out dark like you mentioned. I know you said that is because of either refilled or non original cartridges. I got this problem when I changed a printhead for a customer which got system supply error and they took the cartridges (which are original) from the old printhead and used it in the new one and their colors came out dark. Is it because the cartridges they removed were already used?

Yes. If old printhead had the same happened, old cartridge also color mixed ink from the old printhead.

How do you spot a fake HP Cartridge to a Genuine HP Cartridge.

Actually it is hard to tell. most fake cartridges are made from HP abadoned factory so they are exact same looking. mostly they sold it with out packaged. and ABS metrials are little shiny than original l, sticker colors are little darker or lighter
