Specialized specifically says to not run a coil shock on the Evo…

@@TheRexPerkins right that’s why I asked, they say not to because the frame flexes and the long yoke amplifies that flex and bends shock shafts. Air shocks are stiff enough to avoid damage. I was hoping someone might make a coil with a shaft strong enough to handle it.

@@The_Backsmith802 EXT does, the e-Storia is a burlier version of the regular Storia with HBO. Both work just fine (remarkably well actually).

Hello there. Newbie here. On my previous bike i had a fox float wich was easy to set depending on what kind of trail your riding: full open, half and closed, being the close position a zero rebound becoming almost a hardtail. How do i set up the rockshox super deluxe like that? What setting is some sort of an equivalent?

Isnt HSC for that to slow the mid to end of the travel to avoid bottom out? So where to i need to leave HIBO

I really don't like the feel of the 2023 RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate Air that came on my 2023 gt force carbon. I have the 2021 RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate Air Dh with the megneg on my gt fury and it feels amazing to bad the megneg doesn't fit the new air shocks.

worst place to add the HDB dialer. You pretty much have to dismount the coil in several bikes to be able to adjust the HDB

You cannot travel those shocks? I tried to find some infos about that but the only thing i found is that on the rockshox spare part list, there are those spacers listet as travel kits!

If you were talking about shock stroke, no, you can't change it anymore! That's the only cons but yeah, you have to buy the right one and keep it as is... I think they said it was because of HBO.

@@aleksandermichaowski7885 it would be the same thing as it also has the HBO. If I had to buy a new shock, I would try this coil shock no questions asked! Ajustable hbo on the coil version plus everything else... seems incredible for the price!
