Speaking of Justimon, it is very interesting to know that its Accel Arm, Blitz Arm & Critical Arm are also used by Raijinmon, Suijinmon and Fujinmon. Also, there might be a little connection with Monodramon and Airdramon...hmmm....still a lot to be explored!

I think it goes without saying (I know a few commentors have already pointed it out as well) that Justimon is inspired by Kamen Rider. Both Kamen Rider and Digimon see shows and merchandise being regularly produced by Toei and Bandai respectively.

I'm cetain others have mentioned it but Justimon takes inspiration from Kamen Rider, a franchise that is IMMENSLY popular in Japan. Not only is his design directly from the franchise but even his Justice Kick comes directly from it as it is a signature Finisher for most if not ALL Riders. I'm surprised you didn't mention Justimon-X, where all three Arms become active at once!

Actually, now that I've become familiar with Tokusatsu in general, there is a hero that actually fits Justimon to a T. That hero being Kamen Rider, which you can see the influence of in his design, minus the bug eyes. Showa Kamen Rider usually had a muffler, with some Heisei and Reiwa Riders also having a muffler as a throwback to the most famous Rider, Kamen Rider Ichigo, the original Kamen Rider. When you take into account how Kamen Rider was created, originally intended to be a villain by an evil organization but being rescued from that fate before he could be brainwashed and now uses his powers to fight said organization. Monodramon and his Digivolutions being vicious and monstrous while still having a desire to do good fits in, with Justimon being the ultimate end-result. As for Rookie Digimon aspiring to be like Justimon, that's a tie to the real world influence of Kamen Rider as many Japanese children feel inspired to do good because of this now 50+ year running super hero series. Granted, Ultraman likely plays a part in that too given some features can be seen in him. Where Justimon's arm gimmick is concerned, that I too feel like it takes influence from the form changes that both Ultraman and Kamen Rider use, with maybe a bit of Super Sentai playing a part with their transforming sidearms. Evidence for this comes from the three bolts that can be interchanged in Justimon's right arm, playing right into the early days of the collectible form change gimmick toys that were rising in popularity in Tokusatsu about the time that Justimon was created. At this point in time, such gimmicks were often limited, as the first Rider to be able to freely swap forms, Kamen Rider Black RX, only had three forms, with Ultraman also being limited to about three forms at the time himself like with Ultraman Tiga for example. So that all checks out to me. As for the trio of Digimon who use versions of Justimon's arm weapons, this seems to take inspiration from some series where the bad guys of a tokusatsu show, mostly Super Sentai but has happened in Kamen Rider and Ultraman. They either copy the hero's own powers in order to make their own evil Kamen Riders, evil Super Sentai team or villainous Ultramanlike entity, or once again the hero's powers are derived from the powers of the bad guys. Typically the latter is what's the case in Kamen Rider, with Justimon seeming to be the reverse of the Kamen Rider powers origins trope that sometimes happens in Kamen Rider, albeit on a rare basis. It's not one-to-one, obviously since Justimon takes to finishing his opponents off with attacks from his arm like Ultraman does instead of a jump kick, but it's plainly clear to me. Regardless, both Ultraman and Kamen Rider have a fondness for striking cool poses, something that Justimon also has a fondness of. Funny how Digimon did a nod to super hero tokusatsu long before Pokemon finally made its own Kamen Rider based pokemon in the form of Lokix.

I think Mondramon’s line is very interesting and it is very interesting that it goes from dragon to Superhumanoid Digimon and how Justimon’s Three arms were used to make three Digimon based on Japanese Gods is very interesting and o hope they will get their own Digitalution lines in the future.

Short answer is yes but only ryos cyberdramon. Long answer is a summary of 3 japan only games plot and explaining some plotholes in the second and third seasons story that they fill. He does but thats specific to ryos cyberdramon. Basically due to some time space stuff, millenniummon is the same digimon as monodramon but also not. Ryo is from a set of 3 Japanese only games. The lore is ryo was supposed to be a part of the 8 digidestined but the genais decided not to include him. His partner monodramon had no purpose and never met his destined partner as a result, turned evil, evolved to kimeramon, revived the digidestined old enemies and fused with the dark master machinedramon to become millenniummon. He then got revenge by defeating and capturing the digidestined. Ryo defeated him and saved the digidestined by partnering temporarily with various characters digimon and raising a massive digimon army to rise against millenniummon. During the last game a copy of his monodramon was made to replace millenniummon as his partner but milleniummon is essentially immortal. He cant die do to existing in every second of time since he was born combined with his time space powers and even if he could hes ryos partner and partner and digimon both delete if one does except in cases like in last evolution kizuna. Another copy would replace the current millenniummon if he was defeated and ryo would due if he was anyway so thats a big problem. The story however ended when ryo and millenniummon talked things out and made their peace. Millenniummon then fused with monodramon since it was the only way to go back yo being ryos intended partner after all thats happened. The godlike power of millenniummon is so strong however that cyberdamon cant contain it and he goes beserk when fights. Luckily both are ryos partners so he can usually calm the two down with some effort and biomerge fusing them with ryo is probably why justimon doesnt go berserk in the anime. Ryo was also friends with kens older brother who was also a digidestined candidate but never had a partner. The second season briefly shows a flashback scene where a young ken, wormmon, kens older brother and ryo fought millenniummon during the finale of second game and moments before kens brother lost his life and millenniummon implanted the dark seeds in ken. Thats the gist of it but the its been a bit since i played them and the games are only in Japanese. I had a translated script to follow along with as i played them but not official and had bad engrish so probably a few things slightly wrong or off with my info but its mostly correct at least.

@@megadong2398 i think because they talk and have unique personalities, a lot of fans forget that there isnt just one of each kind of digimon. Even i forget until i pick up a game or see one of those episodes taking place in a villages populated with like 267 visually identical digimon and one village chief with a weirdly convenient mustache or scar to lets us know hes the least one off of the one off characters there.

I wish the arms combined with an Ogremon, Fugamon and Hyougamon before becoming new Digimon. That way they could keep some of their Oni traits and be a bit closer to their mythological counterparts (Suijin is more of a dragon, but it wouldn't be hard to make that work). I've also felt that Strikedramon seemed more like a Veemon evo than a Monodramon one. I prefer it to ExVeemon or V-Dramon (both of which I could see recoloured to better fit Monodramon. Maybe switch the V on their chests for those red slash marks and make their claws those metal drill ones.).

I really like your informative videos, and point of views. I just have a theory and/or a question. So we know Justimons arms has three functions each connected to another digimon raijimon, suijinmon, and fujimon. So we can clearly see that all three of those digimon are part of the metal empire attribute no arguement there. Is it possible that they were created by another digimon datamon or andromon for example, to mimic three other holy type digimon that have the same or similar powers that we have yet to discover? I say this because its possible that Justimon is a type of Hybrid of all three utilizing each ones speciality skill in a possibly lesser output sort to speak. Fujinmons laser canon can be stronger than Justimon, however Fujinmon can only use that skill, it can't alternate into a Shock fist, or a earth shaking arm. likewise for the other's of that trio. So, my main question is did another digimon create the trio off of another original trio that we haven't discovered yet? I mentioned Andromon, and Datamon earlier because they are known to tinker, experiment, enhance or change other digimon, i.e. Metalgreymon, Megadramon, possible Megidramon etc. and if you look at andromon ( human/robot/android) and then look at Justimon( human-like, large machine arm) one can make a comparison. Also, in a digimon game (world dawn/dusk) if you fuse Andromon with superstarmon you can create a Justimon, they maybe connected. All in all my theory or idea is Raijinmon, Suijinmon, and Fujimon are Digimon that were experiments copying three other digimon. To, help further andromons digivolution in a more heroic theme as opposed to Hiandromon. However, Andromon couldn't decide which weaponry, to focus on after this trio was created. Thus, utilized all of the signature attacks but focused them on a lower more controlable scale in order to utilize all three at will, i.e. now Andromon has now became Justimon. Of course there's some questions, such as how does the monodramon line fit in? it's only a theory.

I think fujin, raijin, and suijinmon would make great canidates for a biomerge or just normal fusion of justimon and another digimon to create those 3 digimon. For example justimon and machindramon could fuse to create suijinmon

☝️🤓You forgot to mention his counterpart millenniummon that is also one of monodramons evolutions. Millenniummon was ryos original partner in the wonderswan games theyre both from and because of some time/space shenanigans he used to be the same monodramon ryo is partnered to that most fans of tamers know about. 👇Heres 5 more neat justimon facts.👇 ☝️🤓1. Millenniummon is a fusion of kimeramon and machinedramon. Both of which are made from parts of other digimon and all 3 are villains. This is neat because justimon is a superhero. The theme of Monodramon digivolution-lines is villains vs heros. ☝️🤓2. Justimon is the opposite. Hes a hero and his parts were used to make 3 villain digimon. ☝️🤓3. Justimon and his pre-evos all debuted in the wonderswan game "digimon brave tamer", the 3rd game in a trilogy starring ryo who also debuted in those games but had his anime debut as a character in the 3rd season of digimon and the 3 digimon made using Justimons arms debuted as short lived villains in the 3rd digimon game on ps1. Justimon also has 3 variable arms and aside from ryo, tamers has 3 main protagonists. Justimon has 3 mode changes with those arms too and the three digimon made from them are also color coded the same as the main 3 partner digimon in tamers. Red yellow and green. Guilmon renamon and terriermon. They also vaguely resemble some of their evolutions as well. **Basically unlike gabe newell, justimon really likes the number 3 and would totally make a 3rd sequel to half life and portal if he could. Lol** ☝️🤓4. Ryo is the last tamer to join the season 3 cast and is part of the 6th ranger trope that is a common theme in tokusatsu shows like power rangers or kamen rider. Coincidentally, (not really its a reference lol) justimon is also based on kamen rider. His "justice kick" signiture move is literally just the "rider kick" which is the signiture move of og kamen rider. The hero poses line in his reference book are also a blatent reference to tokusatsu shows as well since those silly but wierdly cool poses are a common trope in those hero shows. ☝️🤓5. The 3 wonderswan games ryo is from are probably one of if not the most relavant and important pieces of digimon media that never left japan. This is because ryo interacts with multiple characters from the first 3 seasons of the anime to the point that the games are considered vital lore for multiple anime seasons including adventure 99 and 02 as well as tamers and even the 2020 reboot but only very loosely and only because theres a millenniummon is in it and its a adventure 99 reboot. Without the wonderswan lore much of the 02 plot such as origin of dark seeds, how ken knew how to create millenium or what happened to kens brother becomes a massive plothole. Ryo joining the cast of tamers also feels kinda like a random rushed attempt at adding a new tamer to the team instead of the cool surprise anime finale to a great trilogy of games it was for many japanese fans.

@@valkyrasonara1797 kinda. Kimeramon isnt exclusive to ryos monodramon. Other monodramon can evolve to him from champions like airdramon but ryos is the one with the lore reasons i mentioned. For the rest it would just be a random dark digivolution if it happened.
