the elbow was not everything he also had 1.8f jabs and 1,2,1 was a NC Amazing bully potential 2. f,f+2 launches on normal hit for massive damage 3. Throw breaks where not added until tekken 2 and tombstone>d+3 is a true combo for over 50% 4. Crouch jabs hit low in tekken 1 so d+1>2 is a Low to mid NC for amazing keepout It is also so fast that if you block the low the mid is free(Cant stand up in time) even with all this dumb shit kaz is still the better character in that game because of true mid WGF that is like -6 on block and hits on frame 11 making it the best launcher in tekken history

Not sure you said so but WS+2 is homing and ch confirmable. You can also ch confirm f+2,d+1 into the 2. Ch db+4, cc, d+2+3 is guaranteed, for one damage less and way easier you can do FC~d/f+1, or cc RD. Or as other people mention, dash to gt

Whilst I would say the system does suit the character well there's a couple of things thats wrong: wr+3 is 0 on block only +1 at tip range, db4 on ch gives a dash ground grab attempt. Lastly the f2, d1, 2 string actually is inherited from Marduk.

King did not just became a top tier...he was always a monster. From T2-3 the hours on practice mode mashing random commands to find out he chain grabs they didn’t give you because he’s a complete monster....then with T4 I got a command book to see just how much moves he really got.....HOLY SHIT!

You forgot to mention that even though okizeme got hella nerfed in T7 he is the only character (I think) that got his okizeme substantially buffed compared to TTT2 thanks to his RD and f2,1 I still miss df4,3 after air shinning wizard but it takes a bit more skill now which is a good design imo : higher skill ceiling vs lower damage

Practice 1 2 jabs into ff1 the timing is picky once you can get ff1 reliably then practice the combo.

After df4, 3 do 1, 2 as fast as you can and input ff1 after 1, 2 jabs recover. It’s easier to land ff1 if you do 1 dash jab 1. It’s 2 less points of damage but easier to land ff1 if you can dash jab.

Either input ff1 immediately after 1 2 recovers or buff the f in the recovery of 1 2 and then input f+1 when it's finished recovering.
