Hello, I have been binge watching this series and I really like it! I was wondering if someone could explain what "on hit damage" and its percentage mean, though? I thought it meant like damage you dealt back when getting hit, but it seems like it's instead a chance on hit to do extra damage, which seems weird because I thought that's basically what critical hits were...

On-Hit damage is a type of damage that is generally done by additional effects such as items and passive that apply on attacks or every other attack. For instance: Every attack deals additional on-hit damage equal to 20+50% Spell Power. This damage is displayed as turquoise, and scales from On-Hit Effectiveness & the burn debuff.

To my knowledge if I been paying attention spell power increases on hit effectiveness so frost would do the same by proxy I believe

spell power doesn't always increase on hit, no. only one passive in the game does that. frost doesn't buff on hit, burn does.

I don't know how much of a back log you have, but there has been a pretty big update today in the demo at least. You can upgrade recipes after combining them now!

4:18 Picking 12% spell steal on a hero with 0 spell power instead of 10% life steal with 70 damage is a bad choice I think. 12% from 0 is 0 and 10% from 70 i 7.

spellsteal doesn't require spellpower to be useful though because you have a base amount of spell damage that you do, if you look to every fight after that, Zanmar did more on-hit damage (which does work with spellsteal) than physical damage. therefore I _factually_ made the right choice.

@@Retromation Thank you for explaining. It feels strange to pick spellpower and spell steal on a melee heroes for me :P But it also means 10% life steal is useless if you can get 12% spell steal?

Only for some heroes, he had a passive that made him do the "on hit" damage.
