Hihii! Evil explodey mod creator here >:) Getting the wrong result with the Puzzles in the Chao Races was a typo when I was applying the Config file, it should be fixed now. The change in character bonds, I believe is an oversight as to how I changed Chao's emotions. Basically, the closer Chao are to an explosion, the more the explosion affects their emotions, except after a Chao is far enough away, they are affected negatively by the emotions instead of not at all. Ie, if Chao Explosions make Chao happy, then a Close chao will get 100% of that happy, and far Chao are meant to get 0% of that happy - except instead they get -100% (or more). Vice versa, if Chao Explosions make Chao sad, then really far away chao are accidently made happy instead. Your Happy Explosions were ironically Unhappy Explosions for far away Chao. Sorry. This should be fixed! I have no clue what is causing those crashes when leaving a race. I can't replicate them myself - at least not vanilla. If I ever have some free time I will try to download all the mods you have to see if I can replicate and then maybe fix it then. I'll be honest I'm surprised it didn't crash more often with all the mods you use! But yeah, sorry for the inconvenience of race crashing! Otherwise, thank you for playing my mod, I appreciate it! Hopefully everyone had fun with it.

About the red Cyclone... the channel "Epic Duskk" did a speed comparison test for every character in the game (by having everyone start at one end of the aircraft carrier on Metal Harbour and running to the other end) a few months back, if you want some form of actual numbers on how fast it is relative to the regular Cyclone (and literally everyone else playable, even the mechless characters). However, note that this is only running speed on a flat surface, I believe Metal Sonic is *even faster* on a long enough downward slope because the Black Shield turns off friction for him so he can just build up speed that way.

are people starting to make gardens with custom geometry now??? how does one get in on that??? i can use blender i wanna make my own chao garden ;; chao are liquid and the liquid is nitro glycerin

I don't know if it's just a camera thing, but it looks like you are actively controlling the Chao, and if so...I want that mod, and I want someone to expand on that to make a full-blown game around just that one mod.
