Have you tried burning gunpowder? That said, both the possibility of thousands of micro-bombs in each pager and just the lithium in the battery being enough to send someone to sleep with 72 virgins seem nuts.

yea, the explosion from a lithium battery is not only generally smaller. but only comes after a prolonged battery fire, people wouldve thrown the devices in the bin once they started getting too hot to hold if it was merely the lithium battery, rendering the explosion useless anyway, but exploding a lithium battery isnt precisely controllable the way these pagers exploded.

They hit the guy with the car, which was controlled via satellite, and then the truck melted itself with a thermite charge to destroy the evidence. And then there is the classic with Haniyeh just a month ago, where Mossad hit an explosive in an Iranian safehouse and then, two months later, detonated it when he came to stay. It also bears mentioning that Haniyeh was in town for the swearing in of the new Iranian president, who replaced the now-deceased president, who "tragically" died in that helicopter crash exactly a month after Iran launched that attack on Israel...to the day. If it's what I think it is, Mossad assassinated the Iranian president, then used this to create the opportunity to kill the top Hamas political leader, all in Iran's living room. Finally, a fun and less murdery story is how Israel stole a MiG-21 from Iraq so that they could give it to us for testing. They found a Kurdish pilot named Munir Redfa, who basically found himself telling a Mossad spy that he may fight Israel, but he actually respects them a great deal. He basically hit the jackpot there, as Mossad turned him, told him a route out of Iraq that would evade all Iraqi radar and got him to fly a "top secret" MiG to Israel. At the same time, they disappeared his entire family from Iraq, brought them to Israel and gave him $1 million (1966 dollars), citizenship for his entire family, and protected him until his natural dead 30 years later. And that's how NATO got its hands on its first MiG-21 for testing.

Ahmadinejad just did a CNN interview yesterday where he claimed that Iran set up a special unit, specifically to combat the Mossad operating in Iran. They stole a ton of intel, helped assassinate several nuclear scientists, and then skipped country and disappeared before Iran realized what happened. It sounds crazy, but I can't think of a single reason why he would make up something so humiliating about his own nation. Also, there is precedent for this, as a Mossad agent named Eli Cohen became a top advisor to the military in Syria.

One of the former presidents did say that he thought that if Europe felt guilty for the pre-1945 mass slaughter, they should absolutely carve out a piece of Germany and give it to the sons of Issac. This was a great video. Sadly, I am trying to get my "geriatric" head around the fact that there is practically no discussion that Hezbollah and Hamas are not governments of sovereign states, but terrorist militias that "take liberties against a sovereign state whether that state is attacking them or not. Now granted, said sovereign state has sanctioned the continuing stealing of lands that belong to Palestinians in the West Bank, but what came first, the chicken, the egg, or the nearly 80 years of Israel's existence, during which time thousands of Middle Eastern Jews had their land expropriated in countries near and far from Israel. Just my thoughts. Regarding the haircut, it is less-distracting, but you might need to save up and get a somewhat more expensive cut next time. It is a crappy situation. Hezbollah is the fail-deadly element in Lebanon threatening bloody civil war if Lebanese society chooses a different path away from militancy and hostility against the West and Israel. Lebanon became a de facto failed state the moment Hezbollah was allowed to remain armed (unlike the other groups that participated in the Lebanese civil war). The bitter truth is that this Israeli intervention just unseated Hezbollah for far less bloodshed than the alternative of a second Lebanese civil war. Now Lebanon can forge its own path without being held hostage by Hezbollah and the IRGC.

Alright, quick napkin math. The Wiki for this event says that at least 12 civilians and 42 militants were killed in the attack (as of right now. I'm sure that numbers are subject to change.) That's about one out of five deaths being civilians. If I were a soldier in WW2, and for every 4 Nazis I killed, I killed an innocent civilian, I would be at best grotesquely reckless, and at worst, a monster. Oh, and then I go and say that those civilian deaths weren't my fault. OH, and then when somebody tells me to cool it on the civilian killing, I accuse them of wishing genocide on me and my people.
