I came from Ramapo Way on the South side. In 1953 my parents paid $16.000 for their new home. I wonder what it would sell for today. Amazing and crazy...Wow.

i saw the home prices, then i saw the realty taxes on them and started laughing so hard. no way am i going to pay that much. then i did some research and found out that NJ has the highest property taxes in the nation.

The home prices and taxes can be a shock, but it really does depend on the house and the town some spots have way better deals than others.
