Thanks for the great video. Beautiful scenery. Sorry to hear of your family's loss. I'll be having some lentils with my other food as a nod for J. since he was a lentil man. I don't have any mushrooms, so I'll have to skip those. I'm glad he got to participate in the videos that he did. Peace

My condolences. This truly is a fitting tribute to John... this is such a beautiful place. I know John is exploring it with you and smiling. Although I was a little concerned when I seen the skunk. I recently had a run-in with what I called the stinky Kitty. Lol it was not pleasant for scouting and I.. you know I can see you doing a stealth overnight in the tunnel..😉... I hope to see more of this location in the near future. Until the next one my friend peace..

Thanks Bob. We ar moving to this area next month. Can’t wait. Jonathan’s spirt is here. You and Billy Joe would be excellent hiking partner. it is not safe for me, in my advanced age, to do rock scrambling along. I need a hiking partner who will hike slowly and stop frequently to feel the wonder and awe of nature.

Your videos are like medicine for me Ken. They inspire me to hit the trail to any and everywhere. My favorite parts of this video? Definitely you walking down that road remembering your past. The hills that surround that road had me wanting to “climb over the mountain to see what I could see”. When you were walking down the trails near the water... did you see any snakes? All my best! Like Jonathan, this used to be one of my favorite places to hike as a teenager many moons ago... We’d start at night and run into cattle on the private property near the beginning. Are there still cattle being grazed there? We’d hike into the Sespe condor sanctuary and see the huge birds!
