I’ve just spent two days in Muscat, Oman, and it was not near enough time to explore this amazing country.
In this Oman travel vlog, you can see the following:
- Muscat View: a winding road that overlooks the beautiful city
- The National Museum of Oman: learn about the history of Oman
- Mutrah Corniche and Mutrah Fort: overlook the corniche from this amazing viewpoint
- Mutrah Souq: get ready to go shopping in this bustling market
- Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque: see the majestic architecture of this beautiful complex
- Hamriyah Petroglyphs Hike: unfortunately, I couldn’t find the petroglyphs!
- Sultan’s Armed Forces Museum: learn about the military history of Oman (also my favourite place of the trip)
- Bait Al Zubair: discover amazing facts about Omani culture (my second favourite place)
- Al Jalali and Al Mirani Forts
- Riyam Censer and Riyam Park

You have seen a portion of Muscat. You need around 7 days to see Oman. You are most welcome to visit us again. Try to plans your next visit from November to early March. The temperature is cooler than other months of the year

Its amazing to think that just a few decades back, Oman was country that only had a couple of miles of paved roads and virtually everyone was uneducated. The way they have grown is astounding.

Progress definitely seems inevitable! It is fascinating to think how quickly Oman has developed and grown into the flourishing country it is today.

How easy is it to get an Oman Visa
@TravelsWithBeth

On and Aussie passport, it was a free visa on arrival. As I went through passport control, they asked a few questions, then stamped my passport and I was in.
