Interesting. Schizandra berry itself is a nootropic anyway, as it is known to increase focus and memory. Good point to bring up that gut health also effects the brain,......and so does the endocrine system, which Schizandra berry also has a tonic effect on.

How do you feel about the prospect of using nootropics for an extended duration? Have you ever experimented with nootropics containing lithium, like Normotim?
@user-qh5nm7di2r6 ай бұрын
Swanson brand Lithium Ororate that comes in 5mg capsules, I found that taking two capsule for a total of 10mg per day would help indue dreaming during sleep. But the unique feature of this is that it was nearly lucid dreaming. And 10mg was the perfect dose for getting the right "focal depth" of control in the dream. If I took 5mg, it would seem like I was leaning way back in the driver's seat unable to "grasp" the wheel of control, so to speak, and it looked like the dream was 20 feet away on a small screen. If I took 15mg, it would feel like my "mind" was inside the tv frame, inside the "aquarium" of the dream's details and also on fastforward speed so it was jittery and myopic and "overcontrolled" so nothing seemed to progess but there was a lot of spastic skittery visuals. So yea, try 10mg. It didn't seem to matter what time of day I took it, morning or evening, I would have about the same results later when I fell asleep and then dreamed sometime during the hours right before waking up. And there didn't seem to be any effects while awake regarding mood regulation, energy, metabolism, etc. People just want to toss their monkey biscuits since it's a compound associated with mental health.

Finally I see someone talk about bromantane! The 4-6 hours onset is not true tho. Its about 30-60 minutes orally (psychonautwiki) and from my own experience taking it sublingually the onset is 20 minutes. My ears start to tingle somehow when it kicks in. There is a major downside to it tho. When I take it, its like my focus pierces through the fatique. So when Im actually hungry/tired I don't notice it and forget to rest/eat. By the end of the day I can suddenly get really lightheaded because of that. So be sure to keep eating and take some rest when you should.
@jcbanbury2 жыл бұрын
I dont really understand bromantane, how do you feel on it?
@da4mula8852 жыл бұрын
@@jcbanbury like the effects build up the more you use it. So first vew days maybe nothing much. But after a while you'll realise you are really motivated, like you get all excited about big ideas you have. If your sensible or you take a high amount you might notice you have a tunnel vision on what you do, which with psychical excersice can increase endurance and with other things increase focus. Things might feel a bit more pleasurable, but I see that as a downside as it is for example harder to stop using porn for me on it. The stimulation feels really subtle and clean, but the motivation can increase a lot. For me I got a bit too much tunnelvision, so instead of first becoming hungry or tired I would have not noticed that, until I felt lightheaded (Heavy excersice, forgetting to eat). So you feel: Motivation, tunelvision, increased pleasure, clean subtle stimulation.

The whole "you can only access 30% of your brain" is misguided. It's not that you can only access that portion, it's that your body shifts from which areas it activates depending on the task at hand. IE you use your entire brain, just at different times depending on the task at hand and conditions.
