Bro, you could've done a follow up like you said you would, even though it didn't fix the issue, so that we knew. Thanks for the videos but damn.. that was a while watching those 2 vids, searching your channel and then the comments here to find out nothing worked.
@colonialroofingofnorthcaro441 Жыл бұрын
It's the difference in channels that a million subscribers and those who just stay at a flat line, this has some great content, and it could be one of those big channels but it lacks the follow up, listening to your subscribers, cause their the one that build your channel in the long run, and having that special entertainment value, I'd say its probably one of the hardest things and you have to be super consistent, but I would've liked a follow-up, or atleast a video that said sorry forgot about it or something, but that didn't work for those that are interested etc

You can't clear the transmission adaptive tables by disconnecting the battery. They're stored in non-volatile memory. You need a scan tool for that. You can do it with an ELM327 and the Windows version of Forscan.
@frankgarcia67604 жыл бұрын
Even that doesn't work sometimes. The only sure way to do it is to disconnect the negative on the battery, then connect a wire from the positive to the negative and let it sit for about 10 min like that

@@frankgarcia6760 The adaptive tables are stored in non-volatile memory. That means they cannot be cleared by removing power. That includes shorting positive to negative. They can only be cleared with a scan tool.

@@SwapPartLLC like I said in my previous comment. Even the scan tool doesn't work sometimes. The only sure way to do it is to drain the capacitors in your pcm. Zackary Ray if everything seems fine but your od is still flashing it could be and old code that was never cleared.unhook negative battery cable and move where it won't be able to touch and ground.then take an alligator clip wire and hook one end to the neg cable. hook the other end to the positive terminal(which should still be hooked up to power). let that chill for 10 minutes or so and then take it off and reattach your negative cable. this will clear the pcm on Ford
@JD-nc6fl4 жыл бұрын
Hector it sounds like you probably have one or more faulty solenoids and/or a damaged gasket. if your od is flashing it means your tranny is popping a dtc.either buy a reader or have shop pull codes for you for info. doesn't look like he had any of the solenoids installed on the valve body when he installed it.
@JD-nc6fl4 жыл бұрын
self correct. Hector I was thinking of 5r55e when I said he hadn't installed solenoids in the video. the 5r55s has a solenoid pack which is where your problem could lie.

Hello friend good afternoon, I have a 2002 explorer with 5r55w transmission, I would like to know what I should check, since my car when backing has NO FORCE, when the site is flat there is no problem, but for example, when I leave my garage and the rear rubbers of the car lower the sidewalk (and remain in the gutter), it does not keep backing me down, it loses strength, there is not enough power to get out of this position even though the engine accelerates very well, that is, the car in this position (the front part above the road and the rear part below the road), loses the power to go back, it just feels that it moves but does not leave the gutter, I must put it in DRIVE, climb the sidewalk again and give it hard back to get out

Hello, i replaced my solenoid pack. While i was doing that i stripped one screw so i didnt screw it pack in. Can that cause harsh/delayed shifting? Or is it more likely that my transmission is worn out? Oh the transmission has had harsh and delayed shifts into drive/reverse/neutral before. Thanks for your help.
