Yeah ngl I've never understood the point of signing a prenup and getting married, I just wouldn't marry someone I didn't trust like that or that I already saw them leaving me and taking all my money. Also to me, if you really love someone, unless they end up abusing you or cheating on you, then if the relationship has just run it's course and it's time for it to end cause you're not in love anymore or just not compatible anymore (cause it happens) you should want the other party to have what they need to be okay. That's what my husband and I have said on the rare occasion we've talked about 'what if' with divorce. We've been together almost 12 years now and still 100% in love and supportive of one another tho so I'm not worried. We were both broke when we got together anyway lmao still are but I grew up in a family that had a lot of material wealth but very little love, I'll take the love any day.
