That's really cool how people are just curious to ask where you are from. They're not pretending to be curious like in Morocco, Egypt, or Turkey so they can ask you for money. They're legit just curious to talk.

Your correct there is way less of them but some clearly had money as an alterior motive and left pretty quickly after recieving it. I knew the guy who Gabriel gave the note to share with his disappointed buddy was eventually going to ask for money as soon as he started following him.

You went to karwan bazaar , the whole sale market of vegetables, meat ,fish and every kind of groceries . Yesterday I was there to buy at wholesale rate . One interesting fact is that bazaar is very old dating back from Mughal period , there used to be a river named Karwan and the bazaar used to meet on the bank of Karwan . Now there is no river , but still bazaar is there in it's modern ways

I had a coworker ones from Bangladesh. She raved about her country every day. The beautiful homes and many foreigners have houses an the ocean. The beautiful cakes they make . She loved everything about Bangladesh. I always wondered why would they immigrate to Canada 🇨🇦. She always complained how expensive it is , no fruit and vegetables market no night market. She came from a educated family. She spoke perfected English and had a license to drive. But she found many faults here. But what I see from Bangladesh I am happy to live here. Wide open spaces no begging . My kind of live. I live peaceful here in Canada 🇨🇦. No country is without false but I love Canada. Not born here but I am great full to live here.

Darjeeling recorded sub-zero temperature a couple of days back and right now nights are very cold. While in Darjeeling try to visit some of the top tea estates and tea resorts like Chamong, Tumsong, Rangaroon, Takdah, Singtom, Glenburn, Happy Valley and Gopaldhara. Rangli Rangliot is one of the oldest and most beautiful tea estates in Darjeeling, if you have time try to visit that. While in Sikkim, do visit Temi tea garden and Buddha Park in Ravangla and the skywalk in Pelling with the giant Chenrezig statue and Mt. Kanchenjunga range in the backdrop. North Sikkim is heavenly now and also extremely cold. Have a great trip.

Hope you'll visit BD again to explore outside Dhaka. I'd suggest you to visit the tea gardens (thousands of acers of tea gardens) in Shylet, and the longest sea beach on the planet, in Chittagong. And the largest mangrove forest in the world (Sundar Ban) in Khulna.

Gabriel, nice to hear that you will finally be able to explore Darjeeling, Sikkim and maybe even Bhutan regions. I remember that when you considered it for the last time, the weather in that regions were quite bad, just like in Cairns, Australia on the end of last year when you considered it. Hopefully this time views on Himalayas will be great and days mostly sunny without any clouds. And after that mountain experience, maybe it really is time to go to Australian outback and beaches for a change. ;)

Despite being small in size and burgeoning in population, over the past 50 years since its independence Bangladesh has managed to overcome all odds to clinch the envious position of being among the world’s top 10 in the following 10 sectors. You can consider this country as the most productive country. 1. Fourth in rice production 2. Second in readymade garments 3. Eighth in remittance 4. Third in vegetables 5. Sixth in potatoes 6. Second in jackfruit 7. Eighth in mangoes 8. Eighth in guava 9. Second in goats’ milk 10. Third in Freshwater fish

I was about to suggest Sikkim, and you mentioned it in the video. In Sikkim, visit Rumtek Monastery, it's like visiting Tibet. I was there exactly 20 years ago, last week of Jan 2003. Great place for a historical, religious, and cultural video. Have a chat with monks, they can speak Hindi and English. Other places in Sikkim, Nathu la, Chango Lake (ride a yak, tea with yak milk, eat yak cheese, or just a picture with a yak.) Upper Sikkim, Yumthang (check if the roads are open, best time to visit March/April for flower festival). If you plan to go to Bhutan, you can try from Alipurdwar, via road. Trivia: Currency of Bhutan (Ngultrum) is at par with Indian Rupee. I had 1 Ngultrum note in my wallet for years, until I lost the wallet. (Now I just have 1 USD note.) Further in NE, visit Tawang, that's in Arunachal Pradesh near Bhutan-China border. Everyone needs prior permission before visiting that area, even Indian citizens. [For other places in NE, call me. 😜It's been a long comment.}

Hi Gabe To enter India you will need a PCR test as you've been in a China listed country (Thailand) within the last 14 days. Singapore is also on the list. Applies even if you just transit through one of the listed places. One of the questions asked on the Suvidha form is what countries you have visited in the last 14 days. The rules primarily apply to flights from the listed countries so no one might check but.... Ah... travel in the days of covid !!!

Each day brings something new in this area. Although the Delhi Airport site has a banner headline saying all incoming international passengers need to complete the Suvidha form when you click on that latest info link it says the Suvidha form need only be completed by passengers on a flight originating from a listed country. Therefore you never need to declare where you have been in the last 14 days. Confusing to say the least

Forget it it seems I was right in the first place... test required (perhaps) given the definition of transit. With the Thai exit stamp in your passport it's not worth the risk. I hate these weird regulations
