Practice

Practice, you can do it indoors or out. Use jigs with rusted out hooks or falling apart skirts with torn up plastics or just something weighted the size of a lure, if you care to invest in casting plugs, whatever and give yourself small targets to pitch at like plastic cups, mugs, a patch of grass or a patch of dirt all work.
