Egret and Heron are the same family, genus Ardea. Long story short definitely not a tiny little kingfisher.

Awesome Spot! When there with a few buddies with nightcrawlers and a cup of minnows. With the tiny minnow, had at most an 8lb Bass on but came off at the bank!! One of the best and worst fishing experiences 😂

Hey bro I caught 6 largies about 2-3 pounders today on the Sixth Sense Movement square bill in bluegill color it was awesome and my 11 year old grandboy caught his first bass on a hard lure, he loves your channel 2! Funny thing he threw a suspended jerk bait today 2! Lol Hes caught plenty on senkos, creature baits, rooster tails and beetle spins . I taught him how to throw a bait caster a week ago and he has caught 2 nice bass on the bandito bug already!

Egret was the bird in the beginning, the Kingfisher typically lives along the river and are pretty vocal. Slightly smaller bird but equally if not more impressive in my opinion.

That's a heron. He might be there because some local fisherman has been feeding him bluegills. I had the same thing happen to me on a lake once, and a local told me that was why the bird seemed unafraid of humans.
