Small streams are amazing and hold so much variety - I have small streams all around me in Kent that fellow anglers refer to as “overgrown ditches” but I’ve had more fun fishing them than a thousand commercial waters. Thanks for another brilliant video 👍

Love the stream video. I like to do one rod carping and then use a 5m elasticated pole. I use maggots and corn and would catch all day long and if the carp rod goes out just put the pole down on the bank. Had a 12lb common on the pole before which was a surprise. I have gathered up a few lighter bits of gear with the idea of walking along a fairly local river to me and do something similar

Nice! There's a small stream fairly near me that joins to the river Nene and I've seen some huge multi pound chub in there, its only maybe 3-4ft wide and no more than 2ft deep, you've encouraged me to get the folding rod out and go for a bike ride tomorrow, next dilemma, bread, lure or worm 🎣 btw my local chub love Nik Naks corn snacks, band it and freeline - try it😃

@@CalAndDani I went yesterday, and took all baits, but unfortunately the stream was very cloudy, similar to the waters you were fishing in - I'm guessing farming nutrient run offs after rain, and i saw zero fish this time, so i ended up using the worms to catch perch out of the river Nene instead, so still a good day 👍

Put some pepperika in with the maggets and shake them it flavour to them and if you throw some in makes a cloud which makes fish think there more bait
