Exploring abandoned buildings in the woods

Located on the former site of the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant are some abandoned buildings that were used prior to the site closing fifty years ago. These once active buildings have now been reclaimed by nature. Today, we are going to explore these buildings and see what remains. So come join me as I explore the former Joliet Army Ammunition Plant.

The "house" building must have been a station for weighing trucks. The concrete pad out front is where the trucks parked and the scale in the house then measured the weight of the truck. The small object that has the door and the forked object inside was where a night watchman checked in.

I agree 100%. You beat me to the punch. That's exactly what that is. I think the place used to be a place where they sell cattle. To be slaughtered.
