Hi guy's. It's great that you are traveling with Dee and Jay. So fun to see the same thing but a totally different view. Thank you for taking us along with you ❤❤

The vending wall with burgers & dogs brings back memories. Saw the same thing in New York City in the '50's. It was called an "Automat" and the brand was "Horn and Hardhardt" (or something like that).

I am so happy to see you two living your BEST life! That castle was just stunning. So far you are 2 for 2 with vlogs on this river cruise....it just looks amazing despite the weather! Thanks for taking the time to share your adventures with us!

It is fun to watch all the appreciation you are showing for the European cities. Seeing it through the eyes of two of my favorite cruise vlogging duos makes it even better. The coffee sign at the begging cracked me up almost as much as Jason's reaction to the red light district. I really enjoy your vlogging style.

Loved you're video. As from the Netherlands great to see how show our hertige. And the coat of arms of Amsterdam XXX😉 The stroopwafel ( 'syrup waffle') is a thin, round waffle cookie made from two layers of sweet baked dough held together by caramel filling. First made in the city of Gouda in South Holland, stroopwafels are a well-known Dutch treat popular throughout the Netherlands and abroad.

Love to see my country in your video. And you’re right about the canal boat tour. We always advise to do that when friends are asking what to do in Amsterdam. And then you see the castle. I’ve never been to it, but now I want to see it. I’ve been to other castles in the Netherlands who are also beautiful. Looking forward to your other videos.

Sorry to spoil a good story but the XXX are the coat of arms for Amsterdam . Three vertical St Andrew’s crosses. Not the red light district.

After WW2, by royal decree of Queen WIlhelmina personally, a new city motto was tied to the 3 Andrew's crosses: Compassionate, Determined, Courageous

I wonder if the billard table was played often. You could get stroop waffles in some dollar stores... and I would heat my waffles on top of my coffee cup...yummo!

Just make sure when you’re docked that you don’t go around naked in your room with your drapes/blinds open! You may end up putting on a show for your neighboring boat! 🤪😂🤣😉

My mother took me to Holland when I was 7 and 9 (1967 and 1969). I loved the veal croquettes you get from the vending machines and the chocomelc drink. We stayed with family. The Welsh town I grew up in (Holyhead) was the base for the free Dutch Navy in WW2, so there were quite a few marriages between the local girls and Dutchmen. My mother’s cousin married a man from Nijmegen and her friend next door ended up in Den Helder. I also attended a wedding in Den Helder when I was 14, and am still in touch with the family. Oh, and when we were dating, my husband and I took our bicycles and camping gear across on the ferry from the UK and did a fortnight tour taking in The Hague, Amsterdam, Edam, Volendam, Delft, and Rotterdam, and lots of smaller places in between.

You missed the Anne Frank house! Put this on your list forbext time. Also, if you were there in Nov. A week's later and you could have seen the Christmas Markets! I also suggest the Rhine and Danube for the Christmas markets. We will be here in Belgium and the Netherlands in August on a Viking. It will be our 15th driver Cruise. Done all zeurope drivers and many in Adia. Now we are doing the US . Vickie from SE Pa

if you go to a dueling piano bar but the pianists are on strike so they hired dueling DJs instead, would you have a pair of DJs? This question gives amsterdam. I think I used that correctly. bet

Would like to take a river cruise from Amsterdam, but living in Florida, the cost of airfare and the flying time are two huge negatives. Couple that with the cost of the cruise, and you end up with a cost and frustration that even an Allegator would pass on.

Your VLOG is close to the truth ;-) The leaning fronts of old Amsterdam houses were not just because they stand on an instabile soil. They lean forward intentionally to facilitate the goods being drawn up with the ropes and dolly on the hook at the top. Many of these houses were warehouses and the distribution of goods was the reason to dig out the canals! The castle "De Haar" has been owned by several noble families. Even the name of the village is derived from the 2 families Van de Haar and Zuylen. The village is called Haarzuilen.

I wish they knew how in awe we are of the architecture and history on every part of the world! Our country is a baby compared to theirs. Most of our population does not travel internationally. That's why I watch.
