What a place, it just goes on and on with rooms everywhere, all the craftmanship that went into making it is so unbelievable, couldn't even dream of living in such a mansion. Thanks for letting us see this huge home.

Why the heck is a place like this getting torn down? What a shame! You did an exceptional job showing us through the maze of hallways, closets, kitchens and bathrooms. At times I wasn't sure if I was watching urbex, an infomercial for banger cola, or an episode of wild Kingdom! 😂 This explore had it all! I loved the entire house. Especially the iron railings and detail work. Thank you so much for sharing this one with us. It completely blew us away!

What a stunning mansion! The workmanship, the quality materials, the doors, floors, staircases, fireplaces, bathrooms - HO-LY! The frescoed ceilings - Wow! Such a shame it's empty and getting water damaged. They might of used that big ballroom for weddings (?) Great one James! Do you know if it's getting demolished or what?
@StaticSpaces
@StaticSpaces 17 күн бұрын
Ya, this one had a lot to offer and those ceilings were pretty incredible, along with everything else! So in the realtor pics, the ballroom was filled with furniture...I would imagine, given the owners wealth, they probably only ever used it for private parties. The mansion was demolished earlier this year unfortunately. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!

Amazing place and video ❤🎉 It's shocking to me that it's going to be torn down and so many beautiful things not salvaged or donated to make homes for the less fortunate people in the world or sold to anyone who wants to upgrade their house. Just going to destroy all the beautiful stuff pretty much and house is a waste and a shame.😢 Nothing is ever enough it appears. Heartbreaking. Loved the house it's amazing and beautiful!
@StaticSpaces
@StaticSpaces 17 күн бұрын
So the thing about salvaging materials, they usually only do that if it is somewhat modern, like within the last two years. For this place though, they salvaged all the chandeliers, and the fireplace casings and the doors and stuff, so they did take a lot. But ya, I can never fathom having that kind of money. 😆 Thank you very much for your comment!!

@@StaticSpaces Thanks for the information about salvaging some items. I just saw so much more beautiful things going to waste unfortunately. Railing, cabinets, wood , toilets, doors , floors, columns, the bar, washing machines, closets etc etc. Alot of people need homes, apartments, I just feel like all these videos of beautiful homes and items inside could be salvaged more for the less fortunate people. Also I believe they could sell a lot of stuff as well, just my opinion. I would love to buy some things. I enjoy your videos all of them. Thanks 😊

I mean this house is a bit of an exception because of how nice the place is but it's also about the cost to remove things compared to what they are worth. My neighbour tried to get habitat to pick up the couch they wanted to replace the company said they would charge them to do it. In other words charge them to donate furniture...so ridiculous 😆

Going by the question Kimmy asked in the live feed, i'd say that at least 6 of us could live together in this house (meeting our space needs) and never even run into each other because of the way the floorplan is laid out, plus we could rent out the ballroom for weddings! Goals for 2025?! 🤔😆[

Hi James No I don’t think closets are boring. I think you should always look in them to make sure no one is hiding in one. This house really was massive. That ballroom was magnificent. Maybe these people who lived there competed in dance competitions and practiced at home. That kitchen was huge too huge. The people who lived there were rolling in money. Imagine a toilet that has a seat that comes up when you turn on the light. I saw that once in one of Ethan’s explores. Pretty cool. This house was very cool and you did a great job navigating around in it. Thank you James for sharing this beauty with us. Stay safe and well.👍🆒 I want to wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year🎉 I know you will have more great videos in 2025 to feast our eyes👀on.❤

If there is someone hiding in the closet, I think I would rather not know! 😂 Oh yes, the owner was a very successful woman. Great Video!! I get more of a business Vibe from this place than a residence. Looks like it may have been a private escape resort for wealthy people, or maybe religious sect or maybe cult? May have been a retreat for relaxation for stressed out people. The Pillars in random multiple locations and in the ballroom, mural suggest some form of a middle eastern/European elite retreat. just my opinion. May have even been some kind of private rehab place for wealthy people.

Actually one would think it was a high profiled person who lived there the way that banquet hall room looked and the rest of the house was geared to mega entertainment and probably VIP parties ,it's sad in how the rich spend lavish unlimited money on luxury, only to have it wind up abandoned or loss ,some gain their wealth by inheritance or nefarious deeds or illegal dealings, and the poor live very frugally and counting every penny ,equally sad in how these mega abandoned homes can never be salvaged or lived in again but end up in the demolished list, what a waste of space and beautiful design and layout ,the supplies either end up salvageable or recycled, good job as always in filming and narration.

Yes, I believe the house was renovated around 2001 when the owner of the energy company bought it. It certainly was an incredible home. I often wait until a place is demolished or just make sure not to leave identifying information in the video that would give away its location. Really glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!

Ya, I'm not a fan of soda, so I actually haven't had it in many, many years...it's too sweet for me. But I'm not surprised it stays good for a long time. Thanks again for your comment!!

Why couldn't they have saved this house and found another piece of land for the new mansion. I don't understand people.

I guess because this is the area they wanted to live and this property was the only one available at the time. Thank you very much for your comment!!

You can't just claim an abandoned house, they all have owners and are not lived in for various reasons. Thanks very much for your comment!!

You DO have VERY GOOD CONTENT and I enjoy viewing it , but it’s rather off putting when you decide for your viewers what is not worth seeing… some of the things you think may be uninteresting are things some of us actually do WANT TO SEE ( but I’ll add on the other hand the better excuse here is BECAUSE of it’s size and maze layout…. Wish WE could have seen that headboard that was facing the wall in that 1st bedroom

Well, I'm not sure who else could decide, what to show, I am the one that films and edits the videos. I do have to try and strike a balance between the most interesting parts and the less interesting ones. Some people watch the whole video start to finish, however others just watch bits and pieces. For example, the video is 50 minutes long but the average view duration is only about 10 minutes, that's not a very good percentage and shows that the majority of people aren't watching the whole thing. Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed the mansion and thanks a lot for your comment!!
