Well, not entirely unlabeled. The spine of this VHS tape reads "Blank 12/93", and that's all the info we have. Let's watch it!

"Do I look more attractive when I'm recorded on a low-res tape?" You look like you should be sitting in front of a bunch of seventh-graders with an acoustic guitar, but hey, you wear it well, so...yes?

I mean, if he's sitting in front of seventh graders with an acoustic guitar, then surely he's doing that in a church basement while singing about God. Trying to get the kids involved, no one wants to join in. That kind of vibe.

Regarding the Medical Card, I will say when I was in China, I did have a Medical Card like in the commercial. It acted more as card for logging in at the Hospital, and they still required identification to confirm it was me, but they did use it to access the account that was made that did hold my medical information and not matter what hospital I was in, they had access to my medical records. Something that was nice about it was that since I got bronchitis three times there when they told me about my scoliosis the different doctors didn't have to tell me twice because it was logged saying I was aware. They also didn't have to constantly ask if I was allergic to things because it was logged. That being said I can't say whether or not it was secured, but it was at least convenient for the few months I was there on as a volunteer teacher.

Well, technically, my parents had them, and I don't know if it was that exact brand, but I do remember how much I loved the satisfying, heavy, "chuh-chank" sound from flipping through them...my favorite was the one that had a picture of my dad with John Candy loaded in it. Very random. Man, it's been ages since I even thought about those.

All the K-mart talk reminded me. I got hired by K-mart after my senior year of high school and I went away to college 11 years ago. I applied a few weeks before summer started, got an interview a month after it started. A week later I went back, signed the papers met hr, the store manager the whole 9 yards. They then just never scheduled my training, despite me going back a few times and asking what was going on. Few years later in college I’m talking to my friend and he mentions how something very similar happened to him. Funny what stuff like this brings back.
