Exploring and fishing unique locations on the river (Kayak Fishing)

In this episode I go exploring unique structures in the river for fish. I find bass, catfish and bluegill as I work my way up river in Rogersville Tn.

Be careful when you get back out there because of debris & changes. Might keep antibacterial gel handy in boat/kayak because of bacteria issues. It may really be bad in Boone unfortunately. Stay safe. 👍🙏🎣

Glad you and family and property are ok Michael. I checked out those striperX rods. They are very nice rods, but kinda heavy, great for boats, trolling and kayaks, but not for bank fishermen throwing huge swim/glide bait lures. If you know the company folks, tell them Make us a lightweight Swimbait rod!

Hey Michael, I've been wondering about you and if you and your family were alright. I'm glad to see you are safe. My mother lives in Mountain City and her home was almost washed away, thankfully she is safe also. We are west of JC so we were lucky. Now I have to pray for my family in Florida who are in the path of Milton.

Just curious how the lakes you fish look? Lots of debris?

Yeah, a lot of debris.

Yeah i don't know what how the fishing here in Northeast Tennessee will be after all is said and done. My father and I delivery some water and hay to some people we know in Erwin and the nolichucky river has changed a lot. There were places that were all white water that are now calm. I don't know about the Watuaga yet. But there are more important issues at hand for this area right now.

Agreed, thank you for helping people. We will all figure it out once everything calms down. I’ve seen reports that the South Holston River is fine and so are most of the reservoirs. The Nolichucky river and Watauga river are the only ones I don’t know about at the moment. Plus all the streams I’m sure are destroyed.
