The general consensus says there are better malls than Central World. For example, try Emsphere & EmQuartier (BTS Prompong (spelling?) Station) and Icon Siam (Gold Line Chareon Nakhon Station) and remember Bangkok is the city of skywalks - no need to come down on the street levels in order to get into those malls.
