Buurrrr! Your wife is a trooper! It is beautiful up there, it's been years since I've visited. You need to come back and do the waterfall hike! Thank you so much for sharing with us.

Thank you Randy and Julie, for another very interesting outdoor adventure. Did your tee shirt say "Saved By Grace""? .... Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.".... I love that verse... Robin 🙏🙏🙏

Hard to find a more classic verse in the Bible! Yes, it was from a youth retreat that I was invited to speak at a few years ago.

Yep==that is exactly the Point Reyes I remember. We had a nice sunny hike and then at the lighthouse...well let's just say only my son and I hiked down to it while my wife and our daughter stayed at the car. I smile at the memory. As always thanks for sharing each adventure with us. God bless you and yours!

So much to see in that national seashore. I was there in July last year it was freezing cold, with lots of fog in the morning and pleasantly warm in the afternoon. Elk! I wanted you to show the elk of the national seashore. Oh well! Do you and Julie purposely plan color coordination on hikes? Here your By Grace shirt is similar color to Julie's Columbia jacket. You have a beautiful smile, may we all smile like you in thankfulness to be alive everyday.

Appreciate the warm and encouraging comments... and no intentional coordination on the color! :)

I've been to SFO, but never here, though I was able to get across the bridge to Muir Woods--my only view of Redwoods. Another beautiful one, as always. Thanks for letting us travel with you.

Very cool...and well done! This is one of my favorite "hidden gems" among the National Parks. I live in the Bay Area; so, it's not a long drive to Point Reyes. It's always worth that drive. Plus, I can stop at an old fashioned original A&W restaurant in nearby San Rafael before or after visiting.

A&W root beer is the best!

Great beach there at the end! Classic California views with the beach and the mountains that meet. Beautiful. Hahaha, completely different feel and weather conditions there at the end! Shows the need of the lighthouse I guess.

Hey Josh, hope you are doing well, my friend! Nice to be with Julie for some time away. It was always tough when we had the little ones.

I think C4 and Muscle Milk should sponsor the video! Can’t believe how fast that fog moved in, one minute and beautiful day and the next it’s freezing and foggy. Awesome video!
@AmericasParks9 ай бұрын
Thanks! Would take a sponsorship for either of those any day. Would even settle for a free supply!

I've been here 2x and it a really amazing National Seashore! That fog can be really brutal there at times. But when it's all clear it's very heavenly.

Point Reyes is an awesome place. Alamere Falls is only 8 miles round-trip, not 14. If you take the shorter route. But you cannot see it at high tide and you definitely wouldn’t have made it to the falls at high tide via the longer route.

i think you may be talking about Alamere falls that is one super long tough hike to an amazing waterfall into the ocean. too far of a hike for us but there are great videos and photos out there. HA!! looks like Summer in the Bay up there !! i took my mom there because she wanted to feel that crazy wind it is pretty intense, nearly all the time... great time on the coast thanks for taking us along, we live not far away but rarely get over there nice to go with you this way/ nice bloopers haha
@AmericasParks9 ай бұрын
Thanks buddy! Three times there and I can never arrive when the lighthouse is open. Yet intense wind, like you said, in each of the visits. Enjoy your weekend!
