Aye, it's also very funny how almost every Hyrule game's king is the one responsible for the destruction of the kingdom. In this case he was responsible for vanishing a portion of the Shieka. And that portion becoming the Yiga Clan. And the rest is history represented in the story of Rhoam himself...

It is because hyrule castle loads as a dungeon which makes everything you see a background so everything that loads in it disappears

It's funny, i recall from the memory inside the castle, he was claiming that Zelda was failing in her duty as a princess, when clearly he was in no right to say that when he was never even able to help her unlock her power.
