EXPLORING CADAQUÉS - Spain’s Hidden Gem

Today was our first full day in Cadaqués, Spain.
Excited to see more of this city, we set out to explore Cadaqués with no plan in mind. We wanted to get lost in the town’s footpaths and be surprised by the beautiful architecture, designs and colorful art throughout.
Cadaqués exceeded our expectations! From the white-washed buildings with gorgeous flowers to the unassuming church where we got an impromptu tour, we fell in love with this hidden gem!
Also, we ate the best falafel we’ve ever had (until that point) at the funky restaurant El Gato Azul. Thank you, Cadaqués!

I was born in Barcelona but now I live in Costa Brava, just 30 km from Cadaqués. I have always been in love with this gem. Whenever I can I go with any excuse. Cadaqués was very famous in the sixties thanks to Dalí. There were writers, photographers, painters, musicians and all the lovers of the bohemian life who were filled with inspiration, so much so that the French called Cadaqués as the Spanish Sant Tropez. Congratulations on meeting our paradise. ❤
