Beautiful, serene, and yes..feels more like England than Chicago! The headstones are incredible. Especially the Celtic cross. Wow! Thank you!

Beautiful cemetery and celtic cross. That hoxie mausoleum almost looks like it was made from wood.

I like the way you spent time looking at more of the obscure individuals and then the Confederate mound with the history behind that monument. A little different flavor all around! I wouldn't mind you going back again to different sections. Thank you Bryan.

Love that you explored this beautiful cemetery! Olympic athlete Jesse Owens is also buried here. The Confederate Cemetery pictured on the plaque is way down in Alton, IL ... also very incredible to see. Keep exploring!!! :)

A little history for you Brian. Celtic, pronounced with a K, isn't just Irish. It stems from Europe, some moved on to what we call England, then Wales, then Ireland 500 years later. Having said that, hundreds of thousands of Irish people migrated to the US, especially during the potato famine. I didn't know where to look in this cemetery, so many outstanding monuments and mausoleums. The Moxie mausoleum took my breath away. And I hummed the song "The Night Chicago Died", 1974, by a band called Paper Lace, when you showed the fire residue.(I have it on my playlist, lol). You've outdone yourself with this amazing location. Thank you! Deb of Oz.

It's a very large place can't cover it all in 1 video the nice thing is that the place is in wonderful shape for its age and not much vandalized

Always like those obelisk stones one I filmed in Spring Hill cemetery (James Brown) I put it up as a short with Led Zeppelin’s stairway to heaven as the music. Honestly video don’t do them justice… one can’t truly appreciate them unless you’re standing right there with them. 👍 Excellent video as always 👍
