Exploring CLEARWATER BEACH (our shortest cruise ever)

After riding out the poor weather in our little hurricane hole, we have our shortest cruise ever to go beach side! We are staying at a resort marina and get some time with family as we enjoy finishing our long gulf crossing!

ABOUT US
Hi! We are high school sweethearts from Atlanta, Georgia who decided to take a year off to travel around the world. Together we decided to create vlogs for our journey as a fun way to remember it. On September 15, 2019, we left Atlanta with 3 bags, 2 one-way tickets, and 1 goal of traveling for a whole year. Little did we know, 6 months later we would find ourselves in a nationwide lockdown in India. After spending 5 months in India, we came back to the United States and decided to purchase a 34’ Trawler, dive headfirst into boat life, and kick-off America’s Great Loop.
The good, the bad, the ugly - and most importantly, the real and real funny. We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done.”, just how we’ve done it. And that whatever it is that’s calling you - the way you’ll do it is much more attainable than it may seem.

Love your adventures. I've been following for some time now. Coffee time: ditch the blade grinder. Get a decent burr grinder. (I can advise.) Fun to see you use an Aeropress. And whole beans (are they fresh)? Good coffee is one of the small pleasures in life....

Totally agree about good coffee! I don't think these beans were fresh haha, they had been on board for quite a while, BUT in a sealed container. 😁

Ollie, your guardian against dolpihn invasion. 😊 I love Frenchy's. I haven't eaten at one in awhile. Their Mahi-mahi is so good. I think that pretty much everything on the menu is wonderful. Another of my favorite restaurants in Clearwater Beach is the Columbia Restaurant location. Awesome Spanish, Cuban and Caribbean dishes at those restaurants. What beautiful weather you been had then. After this past weekend being so dark, wet and gray, we are now having a run of the most beautiful weather for winter 2023/24. Not a cloud in the sky since the clouds cleared by noon on Monday. The seas and inland lakes are all flat calm..
