As a nomad, it gives me the ick that she's trying to capitalize on the old lady nomadic car camping trend. Like, I'd be all supportive of the channel if she focused on the travel aspects instead of talking about her family issues. Camping can be super cathartic, but you have to actually be in the moment as opposed to just sitting there in your negative thoughts that you brought with you from home. It's also gross to call herself "houseless" when she has a nice house and husband waiting for her back home. Most of the older women I've met on my 7 month road trip have been forced into the lifestyle after being divorced from their husbands and losing their homes (stay at home moms don't pay into social security and end up getting screwed later in life because of this-- they have no financial security). It's just tone deaf to have the privilege to choose to go camping and make videos about it, and then she acts so sorry for herself, meanwhile the majority of older nomads have literally have nothing (they are one vehicle break down away from experiencing actual homelessness).

That is a part of what is wrong with this parents. They have a vision of their children they are obligated to fulfill. You know, no parent is perfect. My oldest finished what you call high school and wanted him to do a similiar thing you call college. He was done with school and following we had some discussions around two weeks, until I reflected the situation and came to the conclusion, that I never wanted to force my children into things that is not theirs, so I let it go. Sure it came from the thought that with a further grade you have more choices in life. He is doing well with his choice and I am happy that I remembered myself not to be an idiot. Naturally you make the most mistakes with your first child but the point is self-reflection is a must when raising children.

It is very weird indeed that she does this car life and then bring up the median home prices in each area, or bring up hints of the estrangement. These might be "noise" for a person who doesnt know her other channels, but there are little hints thrown in there, to become a superfan of her. About the introversion, i dont really think she is, but some people are like "i dont like going out my house, so i am introverted". Although it is on a spectrum, still people have this black and white model about these concepts, that if you struggle to get out of your house you are introverted but if you go out and socialize even once a week you are extroverted. In reality the concepts of introversion and extraversion itself are more about how you deal with your innermost thoughts and not about socialization itself. If you are highly extraverted you are more likely to overshare and show your vulnerable side while being highly introverted means that you probably are compelled by your mind put on a facade when interacting with society while suffering on the inside, and this might be why introverts have limited social battery.

I don’t think it’s about her child making money, I think she’s a huge narcissist and so can’t understand her daughter being her own person because she isn’t able to experience empathy and put herself in someone else’s shoes. So she’s baffled when her daughter doesn’t do what she would do or what she thinks she should do. Also the value to her of her daughter is to make her look good - being scorn to say she works at Pixar or enjoy the artisan cheese - her daughter’s happiness is a dimension she can’t perceive.
