Greetings from Nova Scotia! Discovered your site in the past few days and enjoy your ramblings in search of treasure or just a good day outside. Just an observation from someone who always(60+ years) loves fishing in creeks and small rivers. It is how often due storms or long wet stretches they change course. My 2 grandkids and myself are active rockhounds and easily our best days are when we follow where a creek/river use to run.

They are starting to close off too many dam roads in them there hills. I got out before the snow and got into a patch 6'x2'. So I got me some dirt to pan out along with 28 small GoldBug size pcs!😎 Keep on gettin after it Big Brother! And have some fun! Cheers! From Nevada

Hey you guys! Falling down ????? Try using 2 Staves when you go across steep areas, rock slides and other unstable ground! You always have 3 points of contact and man you can really go where only a goat or a deer can go! Not short sticks! Not ski poles! But good 7 footers so you can reach down hill and hit a secure spot when ya need it! I use this tekneque when I'm crossing loose rock slides on the steep! Never fell! 💪 You won't either. Cheers! 'No phone'? That is worrying. Far be it me to tell you to take a phone on you adventures, but what happens if you fall or twist an ankle? Or worse? Who is going to find you? I carry a gps/satellite transmitter so that should I get into difficulties, I have backup. And I always tell my family where I'm going. I'm fairly new to gold prospecting, having a large piece of land in the West Country of the UK through which runs a lovely creek, and I've found plenty of small nuggets. But I always carry my EDC and a phone with two spare batteries for backup. Thank you again for such a super video.

A lot of my friends lost there homes, they all made it out. I had one friend that worked for my brother and I for over 25 years, he had a stroke several years ago and was in a care facility up there, he did not make it out. One of my claims did burn.
