Glove world could just be a random silly thing but to me it’s a parody of disney, like how mickey, goofy, donald, minnie, & other classic characters all wear gloves and those specific ones (usually mickey) are the mascots of the company, like how the glove is the mascot of gloveworld

That's what I love the most about old SpongeBob, it perfectly shows the two sides of an adult person, you can be a joyful, somewhat childish, and just cheery type of guy like SpongeBob or you can be a cynic and easily annoyed type of guy like Squidward, or you can be both. It is something that is missing in modern SpongeBob in my opinion, is that the writers forgot that SpongeBob is an adult with childish tendencies and hobbies, not a mentally impaired manchild with ADHD.
